OK. Now to clear up the problem of the Shaykh's beard, yes it is important to let the beard grow, and the Prophet peace be upon him ordered us to do so. Abdul basit lived in a time when there was a lot of communism going around and lot's of people had some messed up ideas, and were messing up the ideas of the Muslims. Probably the reason why the Shaykh (who has passed away, may Allah have mercy on him) didn't have a beard was because he didn't know. Jazakumullahu khayr. Salaam.

If your intention is to follow his example, doing so is a form of 'ibada, for you are worshipping Allah (SWT) by following the way of His Messenger (SAS). Furthermore, as a Muslim, clothes do matter! Not in the manner of extravagance but in being hygienic and well-groomed - "O Children of Adam take on your adornment at every place of worship" (7:31).

The Qur'an says "Verily in (Muhammad) you have an excellent example." We are followers of his life, as Aisha (ra) narrated in a hadith that the Prophet (saw) was the walking Qur'an. The very movements and sayings in prayer were not revealed via Qur'an but through the actions of Muhammad (SAS).

1)put ur hands on ur ears n make sure u cannot hear anything.
2)now say something o read something
3)u will hear ur exact voice.
dats same as if u where in a public place n when u spoke no1 could hear u because its so loud n u end up screamin' but when its quite u jus speak,read etc.. perfectly.Salam

that makes sense. I also thought it controls how the air reaches the microphone: you can make it sound far and near, or sharp and blurred... for example, I really like the effect of a recitation starting off soft and "far" and getting loader at the end. For one, it's unexpected so it keeps you listening, and it fits nicley with the ayahs... waLahu Alam.

His voice his performance, may god grant him paradise inshallah... bud whats withs his hands, does he doe that to because of the pressure, because reading quran in such a high voice coud be hard i think, correct me if im wrong or just answer please... OK. Now to clear up the problem of the Shaykh's beard, yes it is important to let the beard grow, and the Prophet peace be upon him ordered us to do so. Abdul basit lived in a time when there was a lot of communism going around and lot's of people had some messed up ideas, and were messing up the ideas of the Muslims. Probably the reason why the Shaykh (who has passed away, may Allah have mercy on him) didn't have a beard was because he didn't know. Jazakumullahu khayr. Salaam.
