I am surprised that started it. Do you use any alcohol on the newspaper? Do you use a chipper to get your wood small enough for the gasifier? Thanks for sharing!

Can you make smaller wood gazifier, to put it in car, not outside ?
Its could be easier to drive this on strets- policeman couldn't see gazifier if its located inside car...

It was plain old newspaper but the draw from the fan really gets the charcoal going fast.The wood I use is 1x2 and 2x2 chunks cut up on a chopsaw.
