Gran compositor barroco, dice JORGE ALBERTO BARON. Se lo dedico a ELISA MAXIMILIANE BARON OVALLE, DIANA CAROLINA FONTECHA OCHOA, LUZ AMPARO LOPEZ ROJAS, MARIA CATALINA GONZALEZ ZABALETA...
Is it really Telemann? I mean, this work sounds to me like classical period or at least, a little bit post-baroque. What does everyone think? Anyway, beautiful music. Glad to hear and discover unknown music for me :-)
@Dhha Well, when they are playing it some mor romantically, because of the fact that Telemann is the closer of the Barock and the opener of the Roccoco period (he sat even befor Haidn) than we see that itcomes out like this. Further I know this peace and its way to romantically played .... and my gosh where is the expression of the peace in Gods sake!!
@Dhha Although he was around 4 years older than Bach, he lived until 1767 and enthusiastically embraced newer musical styles throughout his life. This resulted in him being dismissed by some critics in the 19th century as being a composer lacking profundity. We can see now that his music is actually very beautiful, albeit quite different from Bach's, who was probably considered hopelessly old fashioned at this death.
@Dhha It really is Telemann, and one of his most beautiful concertos. I understand your impression of its 'classical' feeling (it is a wonderful example of Telemann's 'galante' style). It is included in the first production of Telemann's colection 'Tafelmusik'.
whats the name of the painting being exhibited?

Excellent piece. The flute gives it a nice flavor.

@AML2000 It is only those who don't follow fashion who will eventually lead it.
