@2012hoaxorg The moon's axis of rotation is tilted 6.7 degrees with respect to the plane of its orbit around the earth. At the same time, its orbit around the earth is inclined 5.1 degrees with respect to the plane of the earth's orbit around the sun.

They were links which didn't bring up anything which he could claim as proof anyway. In posting the links, he was effectively saying "Go on then, prove/disprove this." @shoe. Logic says that if it exists it must be at a certain location - probably within our solar system. So can any of the Nibiru Believers tell us the "right ascension and declination" of the object. Those details are needed so that astronomers know exactly where to point their telescopes. Also, if we can't see it, can you say what effects it is having? Astronomers will be able to verify those effects - if they exist. That is the way that science works - 'peers' check the details to verify them

Ever since the 1960s I have read loads of books on astronomy by people such as Sir Patrick Moore and I would recommend you do also - there is no mention of Nibiru at all. Nobody has seen it in my astronomy club and neither have millions of others. There is no basis in science for it at all and as for the rest of your question its irrelevant because of all above.

Scattered all over the sky are pulsars. We can actually measure the motion of the earth by measuring the doppler effect in these pulsars. The presence of a large body as massive as a 'dwarf star' (12-80 jupiter masses) would have caused a noticeable and *systematic* doppler effect in these pulsars as it interacted with the solar system. It's easy all you need to do is go to a skymapping site or buy a telescope. They are updated constantly and give you a plain view. also with a hand telescope I could polish the lens quite nicely.

That's because the IAU defines the galactic equator in terms of a plane that passes through both the sun and SgrA*. The sun actually crosses the galactic equator twice per year. So, why do you guys ignore the summer crossing? Precession has exactly zero to do with that, by the way, except that it gradually changes the dates on which the crossings occur.

I have been interested in Astronomy since the 1960s, have never seen Nibiru and neither have millions of other amateur astronomers around the world. And my apologies btw. @shoe. Logic says that if it exists it must be at a certain location - probably within our solar system. So can any of the Nibiru Believers tell us the "right ascension and declination" of the object. Those details are needed so that astronomers know exactly where to point their telescopes. Also, if we can't see it, can you say what effects it is having? Astronomers will be able to verify those effects - if they exist. That is the way that science works - 'peers' check the details to verify them

@shoeupon67 I had never even heard of Nibiru until about ten years ago, when I saw it mentioned on a website somewhere. Ever since the 1960s I have read loads of books on astronomy by people such as Sir Patrick Moore and I would recommend you do also - there is no mention of Nibiru at all. Nobody has seen it in my astronomy club and neither have millions of others. There is no basis in science for it at all and as for the rest of your question its irrelevant because of all above.

Hence, the rest of your interegation is pointless. Debunking Nibiru is simple: nobody has seen it, detected it, or detected its gravitational effects on the solar system. If Nibiru was where it is claimed to be (or anywhere on its supposed 3600-year orbit), it would have been detected years ago.
