I love it! I think the fountains are from 8-bit sonic 2. That bit where he runs at the end of the level reminds me of sonic chaos (also 8-bit). It's awesome! :]

The location of the Green Hill act 3 emerald has always been there and sorry for bitching but it REALLY pisses me off when I watch videos in which people, who have clearly played Sonic 1 for years, NEVER go down there!

Not only do you get 50 rings and the act's extra life but it also helps to skip the hardest area of the level.

I've asked Psy on RetroHack how to unlock different characters. He said you must complete the game with a character to unlock the next one. Also, Sonic has more moves than the double jump and spindash as each of the buttons has a different move.

You can jump over those spikes in Sonic 1 there are 5 ring boxes and an extra life, I didn't see if the first ring box was replaced with the emerald one or if the emerald one was just added next to them like with act two, which for those confused with that statement it's just that the act two emerald box has been placed in a Sonic 1 secret area.

It's a nice looking hack, it's just a shame that so much of Sonic 1 is still there (yeah that's the only criticism I could come up with).
