The most amazing with Mike Oldfield is, he invent kind of "Digitech Whammy" before those gears was invented ^^ .

He usually record a lot of instruments, slowly with the tape recorder and speed up the tape for having this realy unusual high sharp tone on electric guitar and synth sound. check the making of "Blue Peter"
