  • ps2 wins by default with SA

  • @MannyMMA i think GTA was also on dreamcast too idk

  • @killkenny5000 only gta 2 was and it sucked

  • @MannyMMA how it sucked

it has cutscene's that make you think your watching a movie and the gameplay and everything runs smooth

i dont see anything wrong with it

  • @killkenny5000 it sucked on the dreamcast i mean, and are u saying that gta 2 is better than san andreas?

  • @MannyMMA no im just saying why do you think it sucked

  • all i can say is...... you are a terrible gamer man, u suck in pretty much every game u show

  • @bobcobain95 this is not about skill dumbass go look up some gameplay for once

  • the music in the beginning of crazy taxi! is it the offspring?

  • @Yes. The Offspring - All I Want

  • You are forgetting a major point...dreamcast was left to rot at most in 2001 and playstation 2 was only abandoned....OH WAIT IT HASNT BEEN ABANDONED YET...so the game developers and the sega engineers didn't have the same tiime the playstation did to get to know their console and get the most out of its technology...so PLEASE when someone who really cares about videogames wants to make a comparison please post only games that the ps2 had up UNTIL 2001 ok??? PS: im no fanboy.I have both consoles

  • Visuals on Tekken 5 blew me away when I first saw them!

  • Pretty hard to compare on YouTube. However, the Dreamcast is pretty darned close, considering that the Playstation 2 came out almost two years after the Dreamcast. I still think Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast is one of the all-time best fighters ever created (great graphics and precise response).

  • where is the head on comparison...?

  • Comment removed

  • The fact Metal gear Solid 2 was coming out for PS2 it stopped me from getting a Dreamcast because some Dreamcast games do look really nice.

  • como van a compara consolas de diferentes generaciones

  • @miguelfernandodiaz son de la misma generacion, nada mas que sega descontinuo las ventas en 2001.

  • ps2!

  • Dreamcast. Best 128bits system ever

  • Crazy Taxi (1999) VS Gran Turismo 4 (2005)

    Soul Calibur (1999) VS Tekken 5 (2005)

and so on... Is this a fair contest? I don't think so! XD

  • Metal gear is so epic

  • Please someone tell me which is truly better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause i'm deciding whether to get a dreamcast or not online. I hear that some models can play burned games?

  • Comment removed

  • One thing for a fact is PS2's display output cannot even compare to the Dreamcasts VGA adapter on a PC monitor or LCD screen, a lot sharper and better colors.

  • I did like the dreamcast. It had so much potential. It was the only console I've ever bought on release day and only one i ever will.. The problem with it though, is Sega killed it too quickly. But in its short life, it had some amazing games, and games are what matter more than anything when it comes to a game system. That is why I go with ps2 on this. It has an unfair advantage admittedly since they still make it even today but it just has so many great titles that you can only find on ps2

  • heres the reason why is PS2 better

    1. the PS2 made with its first day over 900,000 sales all around the world

    2. The PS2 has over 1800 games on it

    3. Motion gaming the PS2 had the eyetoy what worked with motion

Hey but its my opinion you have your own

  • @MrGGMM123 none off thoughs things make a good gaming console.

sales are a pretty meaningless judgement.

neogeo's never sold many units and dosent have many title! but most people think they were a high point off 16 bit gaming

so sheer numbers dosent make something the best.

then the atari 2600 beats everyone.

gimmiks dont either & the dreamcast has more motion controllers etc. than the ps2 and better done.

really what you get the most fun out off is.

but your reasoning why is flawed

  • @MrGGMM123 not saying you are wrong.

both systems have there + and -

the ps2 has a faster cpu but an inferiour gpu, a reversal of the position between the ps1 and saturn.

meaning although the ps2 could theoreticaly shift more information than the dreamcast, the dreamcast had the advantage in real life in 3d games.

the dreamcast was limited by its drive and would have had to upgrade to a new model dvd equiped before the ps2 as game capasity became larger.

    enjoy gaming whatever you use.

  • I was a big fan of sega, since i was kid, i played sega master system, sega megadrive, sega saturn, but big disapointment of sega saturn, we thought sega will come back with power, we were happy and proud to welcome dreamcast, but unfortunalty it went down again, sega didnt even develop dreamcast graphic until the end like ps2 did, im sure dreamcast was a grat console, it ended so early...today im at xbox side, i hope sega will come back one day, sega broke my heart!!!

  • @rickyfantast Dreamcast 2 coming soon at 2012 just wait...

  • I think Dreamcast is better than PS2.And i am a PS2 gamer.

  • AND THE WINNER IS: the guy who have both consoles.

  • dreamcast may not have better graphics, I'd be an absolute bullshitter if I said it did BUT, I will agree dreamcast has a more magical feeling to it, one that a sony cannot replace.

  • Dreamcast has better games

  • Dreamcast wins

  • Oh, I envy the PS2. I had a Dreamcast instead of the PS2. But I like the Dreamcast better when I was a kid.

  • You know if most of you would have said these things back when the Sega Dreamcast was still on the market it would have lasted a lot longer, and Sega might still be making consoles. The Dreamcast deserved more love than it got and it's a shame that it went down like it did. I was still enjoying my Saturn at the time but planned on buying the Dreamcast when I had the money, but because Sega decided to end the console I didn't get the chance to until it was no longer around. Sad very sad.

  • Dreamcast blew PS2 out of water in terms of games and textures. PS2 had some nice polygon counts and a few nice games though.

  • Seriously guys. Have you ever played Dreamcast with a VGA cable? Everything is crystal clear. The polygon count isn't as high as PS2's (partially true, a lot of potential untapped) but it had better support for lighting effects and high resolution textures. Also, I prefer Dreamcast's color processing over PS2's. I think, if it lived longer, we would have seen some wonderful games. :)

  • @Zonr45 and you played a ps2 game with component cables and progessive scan activated?

  • @Caparzoshow that's how I usually play PS2 on my TV set. Apart from the polygon count, the Dreamcast was capable for larger textures, bigger drawing distance and it generally looks more crisp. The problem is that we can't make a fair comparison because the Dreamcast's hardware didn't have the time to be exploited more by the developers due to its early demise. There's no way to know how a 2007 Dreamcast game would look. So, yeah.

  • @Zonr45 you are right about that..., but, it is what it is..., you can speculate all you whant, but at the end of the day, the ps2 games look better.

If you have a supercial friend, and he ask you, wich console should he buy according to graphics quality (remember this is a graphics whore), you wouldn't say "the ps2 has better looking games..., but imagine how great the DC games look if the console had lasted 10 more years!", because your friend can't play with imaginary games...

  • @Caparzoshow First, a friend that's interested in Dreamcast VS Ps2 games in 2011 is clearly NOT a graphics whore.

Now if he/she WAS a graphics whore back then, she'd pick Gamecube or Xbox, the latter also saw Shenmue 2 ported and the sequel to Jet Set Radio, Jet Set Radio Future.

But both Dreamcast and PS2 had other characteristics that made them appealing. PS2 had a sheer number of great franchises, and DC had a certain "aura" that still draws gamers to it.

  • they both are really goof and fun consoles . obviously the ps2 is stronger in graphics but its not the graphics that make a game fun .

  • Comment removed

  • le gana sega dreamcast por graficos y todooo

  • FACE IT dreamcast might have some good games but ps2 won its best selling console ever

  • SEGA WINS!! FLAWLESS VICTORY! FATALATY!!

  • @Burn125 more like a "friendship" LOL. Ps2 totally killed the Dreamcast and it even defecated on it after. Its sad, but it is a fact. Even the Gamecube, drastically superior console, eats shit from PS2 everyday ;)

  • KKKK

Quero ve na comparação de Dead or Alive 2 com Tekken 5

  • And here I thought you were going to compare Crazy Taxi to the PS2 port of Crazy Taxi. You know, something that would make sense?

  • Powervr gpu vs some crappy ps2 emotion....

The graphics were alot crisper on the drea, cast and the ps2 blurs the image to look good.

  • Gran turismo is the only game on the ps2 that is original.

    Tekken vs shenmue1 & 2

    The bouncer vs shenmue 1 & 2

If you have never seen or played shenmue, you should not be gaming as you are as futile as a pig in a slaughter house.

  • Just as the Dreamcast was getting into her own she was canceled. Just as developers where starting to tap into her power. A lot of the games where ports many of the games didnt get the development time as the PS2 hype machine had already sit in after 6 or 7 months after the console released. Another case of hype that people keep falling for time and time again.

  • crazy taxi vs gran turismo ???

deveria se Metropolis street racer vs gran turismo

    pqp vtc fanboy lixo

  • PS2 The Best....

  • 1 game.

    Shenmue 2.

  • Amen, Shenmue is the reason to get a Dreamcast!!!

  • сега лучше чем плэстэйшен!!!!!!!!

  • No ps2 luchshe

  • sega involved = always win for sega and the people

  • Whats with the penguins

  • SEGA WINS

  • Crrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrazy Taxi!

  • Definately not the first console to play online ever. The Sega Saturn had the Netlink (direct dial and Netlink services) and you could play online with the Sega Genesis and SNES with the XBand modems.

  • @AtariBorn

First console to have a builtin modem and to play mass online games and not 1x1 like the Mega Drive or the Saturn.

  • Firstly if you want to compare then compare only the exclusives for both consoles not multi platform games, Because I would want to tell you that crazy taxi was also released for PS2.

  • I need help deciding which console to buy (I already have a PS3 and a gaming PC, but my PS3 isn't backwards compatible). The gaming franchise that I truly care about (right now) is Sonic the Hedgehog, so my initial go was with the Sega Dreamcast, because of SA and SA2. But, as I got in depth, I also got into the PS2, since I used to have the console, and there were many great games. Since I don't know about the Dreamcast experience, can I get some help here, please? Lol, thanks.

  • @didayone

Gamecube. It's got SA1 and 2, along with Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog, and you can probably pick up a used console pretty cheap. Or hell, just get a Wii and you can play all those plus... er, whatever the Wii Sonic games were called.

  • @dunnono00

Wow. I didn't know the Wii was backwards compatible. I could finally play SSBB as well as the SA games. Thanks!

  • @didayone Let me know what you need to know. One thing about the Dreamcast is most of the software where aimed at what was then hardcore games. So a good part of the library is composed of fighters, Arcade titles, Shootemups. She was only around for 18 months although many games where released in that short time the library is limited. Still there is some thing for everyone and a few hidden gems.

  • PS2 is better...

  • Whats the name of the game that starts at 4:15?

  • @TheHeroBadillo I believe thats Phantasy Star Online.

  • @TheHeroBadillo Its Phantasy Star Online on the SEGA Dreamcast. It is the first game ever developed for consoles which allows online playing ever. And there are still some people who regularly play this game online. It has this special something when gathering in the lobby, chatting all the time... give it a try and you will love it.

  • Dreamcast !

Why ? Because amazing games, very amazing..

  • only game i saw on here for ps2 that i like is metal gear XD

  • I honestly don't think I've ever felt more nostalgic than I did watching that Dreamcast footage. I loved this system.

I remember being so excited for Final Fantasy 9 coming out, since i grew up with the old school FF games. I got it for Christmas...but also got a Dreamcast and man I didn't play FF9 for a long time.

  • You are faggot! dreamcast has cd ps2 has dvd nothing more to say. SEGA FOR LIFE!

  • FAIL. Btw sonic looks very good.

  • fail

  • CRAZY TAXI IS TAXI GT4 IS RACING SONIC ADVENTURE IS PHANTASY OMG AND YOU COMPARE IT TO A REALISTIC GAME YOU IDIOT FAIL

  • @scrivenandre

Where did he say he was "comparing" them?

Get back in the pushchair, scrub.

  • EPIC FAIL!

  • its the most stupid game comparation ever!!! you cant compare sonic doesnt matter how good the game is, its nothing compared to metal gear, you cant compare phantasy star with GTA San Andreas that is one of the most popular games ever, and you cant compare frakin crazy taxi with gran turismo

  • Dreamcast Wins

  • Games from the year 2000 DC compared too last gen 2004/2005 PS2. This comparison is shit!

  • god its so close who wins ill now

  • sonic adventure 2 ! <3

  • Crazy taxi <3 <3

  • Pretty lopsided comparison. I don't think that the Dreamcast was going to be as big of a failure as SEGA thought, 10 million units sold in a little less than two years is not terrible by any means. I wonder where the early PS2 adopters would have turned during the godawful launch window if the Dreamcast hadn't been killed off?

  • @iamdarealturok

The Dreamcast was still being supported Q4 2000, perhaps Tekken Tag, SSX, Timesplitters, DOA2 Hardcore aren't as awful as you make them out to be?

  • ps1 forever!!

  • Dreamcast wins cuz its the final consol by sega. Specialy if ya got one wit a yamaha disk drive cuz itl last4eva an eva! Shit i sold my ps2 4 a dreamcast that plays american and jpn games hahaha so stik dat in yo pipe an smoke it!

  • ps 2

  • DREAMCAST!!!!!

  • the only thing i can explain is that if the dreamcast system is more powerful than ps2 system, why does sonic unleashed have better graphics than sonic adventure 2, or those both are the same

  • @pollotierrez Of course the Dreamcast is not as powerful as the PS2, only Dreamcast fanboys like to claim it is. Jus as Xbox 360 fan boys like to claim it looks better than PS3 when it clearly doesn't

  • @ojideagu i think ps3 is more powerful, and im a xbox 360 fan

  • @pollotierrez Cool. I think the Xbox is well overdue for a new console. And the PS3 is starting to get a bit old too

  • @ojideagu yeah, and ps3 is too expensive

  • @pollotierrez The PS3 old fat version is quite cheap now though, although I think they should reduce it to £100 / $150

  • I always have loved the Dreamcast for its gorgeous external, internal and hardware design. The love of developers for it can be felt in almost very game. PS2 has massive library of great games too, but they are more violent. Dreamcast is pure love.

  • why didn't you compare crazy taxi for both? that would be the definition of "comparison".

  • @cutejoshie

Show me once, JUST once, where he said he was comparing anything.

  • @strykah92 He didn't. Your mom told me it was a comparison. :)

  • first off if ur gonna compare gt4 to a sega racing game campare it 2 sega gt dumbass

  • If only the Dreamcast had a DVD player, Sony would have been fucked, they waited to see what SEGA would put out, then realised that DVD tech would be a big thing and added it to the ps2, if SEGA had added that to the Dreamcast, then how amazing would it have been. It would have had a proper lifespan

  • @newGUNSnROSES2009 The Dreamcast didn't have a chance against the PS2, it was underpowered by comparison, even with a DVD drive.

  • @newGUNSnROSES2009

Oh really? Guess what, when the PS2 launched in Japan, those models couldnt play DVDs either, and it STILL sold in droves.

Face it, the brand name carried the PlayStation 2 through, not it's DVD drive.

  • phantasy star online reminds me of body harvest for the n64

  • Dreamcast was a pretty awesome console at the time, too bad it died in like 2 years of life.

I think it's pretty useless buy it now, almost all games for this console were released for other consoles and the Dreamcast it's pretty easy to emulate even for weak PCs....

    ...

Oh who cares, I'm going to take it from Ebay =D

  • The only reason PS2 killed DC, is because PS2 has DVD player...

  • @hristijan171 And a bigger library of games, a better controller, better graphics, better sound, more powerful specifications....shall I stop?

  • @ojideagu nah your fine :)

  • lol doesnt matter cuz dreamcast died so ps2 still won!

  • Did you just seriously compare an arcade racer from 1999 to a racing sim from 2005?

Compare games within the same year or two. Not from half a decade apart. Compare launch Dreamcast games to launch PS2 games, and watch the PS2 games get stomped.

  • Comment removed

  • Sony copied the N64 and the Dream as well, because its control without the analog out, when he saw that both Nintendo and Sega put the analog still comes out copies to other Microsoft copies Nintendo characters and places like the Nintendo Miis on your Wii console. So if things cloned from Nintendo, who says not clone from Sega? If she was still making consoles

    Sony: Clony

  • @TheBondemais

The Saturn actually had the first controller with an analog stick AFAIK, a very rare controller.. The N64 and DC analog sticks were pretty tacky also, atleast Sony made them properly and were first to put 2 analogs sticks on the pad, which nowadays proves the best control scheme for controllers.

Analog=precise movement. Arcades from back in the day with wheels and flight yokes were analog. So, it was just time consoles used analog sticks for movement. No one copied anyone really

  • DREAMCAST FTW

  • dreamcast wins

  • @Gamexrakeem I agree. DC is # 5 in my console rating. PS2 is # 6.

  • This is the most stupid game comparison i ever saw.

  • @dimebagplan yeah, 'cause the dreamcast is way better

  • You can't compared them since dream was made in 1998 and ps2 in 2000

  • I wish people were still exploring the depths of the Dreamcast hardware, because I feel there's a lot of untapped potential that the developers never got around working with. The most technically advanced games are usually released at the end of a console's cycle, and seeing as the Dreamcast's was cut short it never got maxed out.

  • The PS2 is overrated and killed the True Gaming Console.

  • both consoles were very good shame about dc not gaining the respect it shoud of got

  • Dreamcast wasnt made to compete with ps2. it had a weird release date (1998) but it was still part of generation 64 (just about)

  • Comment removed

  • i miss PSO when it was still online =(

  • Comment removed

  • You all can keep fighting all you want, but I'm here to tell you that the ps2 is the better console, by far! The dreamcast may have better hardware, but the ps2 has better games and controller. Actually, I really believe the ps2 is the best console ever created because it has an endless amount of good games. I hate the ps3 and the 360 because the games are just really lame and boring. I used to be a big sega fan and nintendo fanboy, but the ps2 is the best of all time, no doubt about it!

  • @jm1984ful

Compare the Ps2 to the DC (2000-2001)

  • @wewantdreamcast2 Why would that make a difference? It's the same system with the same games. Only difference is that supposedly you can't play downloaded games on the dc systems that were manufactured after 2,000. I'm not completely sure if I understand what you're getting at there, but like I said, the ps2 has a better controller and games, by far. I mean, it's not even close when you compare there games. Also, the one joystick really ruined the dreamcast controller, otherwise it's not bad!

  • @jm1984ful

Im just saying you cant compare games from 1999 to games that were released on the ps2 in 2009.

    Example.

If anybody wants to compare DC and the PS2 compare the games from 1998 to 2001

  • @wewantdreamcast2 Ok, I understand now what you're saying. I still think the ps2 is better because the controller is so much better. The dreamcast controller felt good and the dpad was excellent, but the joystick was terrible and made even racing games hard to control. Graphically, they were the same, but the ps2 was destined to win because of the inefficient controller the dreamcast had. Ex. games like max payne wouldn't have worked on a dreamcast and the fps games were awful compared to ps2.

  • @jm1984ful

I loved the Dreamcast controller and no the joystick was not that bad i never had problems using it.

Dude, Dreamcast can run Max Payne.

There were plans for a Dreamcast version but they were canceled due to the discontinuation of the console you can see gameplay on youtube from E3.

And if you are going to talk about games that can't be runed i have one word for you.

    Shenmue.

  • Shenmue isnt that impressive. If you run nulldc the dreamcast emulator, the game ran at 30fps and had about 900k polygons per second average. 2001 ps2 game like Jak and daxter had over 10 million polygons per second at 60fps. Shenmue also suffered from slow downs, and clipping issues(people and textures popping in). This console war is kinda pointless now with emulators. Remember test drive le mans? The developers eventually made a game for ps2 called grand prix challenge which they state

  • could not be run on any other console. It was release in 2002. I have a couple videos of GPC in my channel.

It had 22 cars on the track at 11k polygons each(more than twice as much as gt4) Tracks were made up of 500k polygons and the game ran at 60fps. Unlike test drive le mans which ran at 30fps on the dc.

  • @Tinhh Shenmue isn't that impressive?

The PS2 Can't Handle Shenmue for example. The GPU of the PS2 can push a lot of polygons but that's about all it can do. The DC on the other hand had a more advanced GPU that can do a heck of a lot of other things, like texture compression etc... all that with extra ram.

DC games can be made to look good with it's limited polygon count. The PS2, well all it can do is push polygons.

Sure PS2 can run Shenmue, but it'll run at FPS that's not playable.

  • You should watch this : watch?v=4TBct24_ZNQ

It explains how consoles are complicated machines and it's not about MHz or ram. I think it run shenmue easily. If the gta san andreas engine were designed to render a smaller less open world like shenmue, then the ps2 can run shenmue. I remember walking into a porn store in san andreas and seeing the impressive textures of the porn magazines and dildos. You could actually read the funny posters and titles of the magazines.

  • @Tinhh

Dont be so sure about that my friend. I work with Dreamcast hardware for quite a time now.

The Dreamcast has an 8MB memory (with a system that can achieve something equivalent to 64MB) vs 4Mb from the PS2. 64mb vs 4mb

It is for this reason that the DC supports more texture than the PS2, and games like Shenmue (released in 1999) never came out for Sony's console.

  • It aint about ram lol. A console is built with many individual components and ram is just a small piece in the intricate clockwork. The gamecube only had 5mb vram yet it was able to run rogue quadron which had extensive bump mapping over long draw distances.(Something the dreamcast didnt do). Google "melbourne house grand prix challenge gamespot interview". Same developers of lemans for DC who stated that their game could not be run on any other console than the ps2.

  • @wewantdreamcast2

Again if you are a hardware enthhusiast I encourage you to watch this : watch?v=4TBct24_ZNQ

This video is full of citations and facts about the underuse of gamecube and ps2 hardware. ALL game developers were only using 50-60% of the ps2 and GC potential. Gran turismo for the ps2 used only 25% of the ps2 processsing power and gamecubes huge bump mapped rogue squadron game used only 50% of the GC. These were real surveys done on real programmers.

  • @Tinhh

And you think the Dreamcast used 100% ? lol

  • @wewantdreamcast2

Nope. A picture is worth 1000 words so here's my own uploaded video: watch?v=lSr2k-Pivl8

This game used only vector unit 1 of the ps2. 50% of the ps2 graphics power. Vu0 was used mainly for the havok physics engine. You see bump mapping on the walls? Reflective mapping on the streets. High polygon hands. This area looks alot like a shenmue area? High resolution textures in the shop. Normal mapping on all the guns. Complex animations. 50% of the ps2 better than dc.

  • Now show me a DC game that uses only 50% processing power that looks better than this video.

  • @Tinhh

    By the way.

Dreamcast can run at 720p (HD) thanks to it's VGA.

  • @wewantdreamcast2

No it didnt. It ran at 640x480 progressive scan vga. "The system supports approximately 16.78 million colors (24-bit) color output and displays interlaced or progressive scan video at 640 × 480 video resolution."

wikipedia. Only the xbox last gen "ran" at 720p(it was more upscaled than rendered). Same with GT4 1080i resolution, upscaled

  • @wewantdreamcast2

Shenmue isn't on the Gamecube either, but I think we both know the GC is a pretty capable machine. In all reality, Shenmue could be done on the PS2. There would be sacrifices in texture quality, sure. The game might look more monotone. There might be gains in polygon count, alternatively, providing smoother models and higher framerate. There will be tradeoffs, naturally, but the game itself would be the same.

  • @dunnono00

Dude Shenmue only made it to the Xbox for a reason.

    Get over it.

Sega would make a lot more money if they had ported SM to PS2 and GC but that was not possible.

BTW: The Dreamcast version is better than the Xbox version.

  • @wewantdreamcast2

Oh? So what is this reason then?

  • @dunnono00

You cant compare the power of an Xbox to a PS2 Xbox...

Xbox could run the HL2 (Half Life 2) engine for example.

  • @wewantdreamcast2

So you're saying Shenmue was on Xbox because of power.... and not because of the EXCLUSIVITY RIGHTS brought by Microsoft?

  • @dunnono00

    Yup.

    MS does not own Shenmue.

Ant BTW: Shenmues's creator Yu Suzuki said that the ps2 couldn't run the game.

  • @wewantdreamcast2

    Nope.

You don't quite understand what exclusivity means. It doesn't mean they own Shenmue. MS had an agreement with Sega stating that Shenmue 2 would only be on Xbox in exchange for money.

As for Yu Suzuki... so what? If you read Tinh's comments, he mentions developers of a PS2 game (former DC developers) that said their game couldn't be run on other systems. Developers tend to talk like this, especially if they have a vested interest in the console with their game on it.

  • @dunnono00

Yeah i know what that means but i was not talking in actual owning the game.

    If that's true prove it.

  • @wewantdreamcast2

This was nearly 10 years ago so there isn't a ton of stuff left to link to. For starters, look at the Wikipedia entry for Shenmue 2. Another is this quote which can be found on multiple sites:

"Athough we have signed an agreement of sorts with Microsoft for their Xbox console, Sega have multiple tactics across all of our development teams, and Yu Suzuki isn't simply going to port Shenmue 2 to Xbox.''

-Charles Bellfield of Sega according to Gamecube Europe

  • @dunnono00

Lmao. Mate dont "say" stuff you dont know for sure.

  • @wewantdreamcast2

Ha, we would have to discount half of your imaginative comments on this video if we apply that rule to you. Anyway, it's listed on more than one source and all evidence points to it.

  • @dunnono00

Lmao, not really i know what im talking about.

  • @wewantdreamcast2

Nope. I mean, you were bragging about the DC running 720p before another commenter had to correct you, lol

  • @dunnono00

    Correct me?

The Dreamcast can run at 720p (HD) using VGA and another adapter.

  • @wewantdreamcast2

That's not the native resolution. That's just upscaling. It's 480p on a 720p display. If there's a PS2 VGA adapter, you could do the exact same thing with a PS2 in that setup. In fact I'm sure there is something, I believe it's called Xploder HDTV Player.

    OFC is not native.
