We get INFINITE punishment. Shall the judge of the world NOT do right? in this world we sin against a finite criminal justice system, we get a finite punishment - even death setence is finite punishment, because one day our bodies will die. But once dead, if we die in our sins, we get inifinite punishment.

I was totally powerless to do anything and was more scared than I have ever been in my life. There is a lot more detail to this, but when I called on the name of Jesus, He came and saved me. Given an *honest* choice, why'd anyone go (and stay) to hell? Of course for it to be a fair choice, you'd have to know the alternatives for sure. So, when God appears with the choice between heaven and hell, I'll surely choose heaven.

I can't choose to suddenly believe in something I see no reason in believing. It's God's job to prove his existence to me. Like in this video, God allegedly sent a vision about hell. Now, that's compelling, isn't it? Seems hardly fair that some people get this kind of evidence while others get none.

People who are imprisoned because of their beliefs are called prisoners of conscience and imprisoning (not to mention torturing) them is a human rights violation. So God holds prisoners of conscience and tortures them forever. Yet he could prevent it but doesn't want to? Your God is a monster.
I'm reading the Bible and nothing has undermined its credibility in my eyes more than actually reading it. Like when Moses' wife saved him from God by touching his crotch with his sons snipped foreskin.
The bible passage I was referring to is Exodus 2:24-26. It seems it depends on translation whether Zipporah touched Moses' member with his sons foreskin or merely cast it on his feet. Having read the bible obly in finnish I didn't know such ambiguity existed. At least the message bible has the same meaning as the finnish bible (both of them actually).

Yeah, well.. still waiting for that day, as with any other religion. If contrary to my expactations I would one day realize that God (or some other deity) was real, I would have nothing to be ashamed of. I have reasons for my disbelief, if I'm wrong it's not my fault.

I was totally powerless to do anything and was more scared than I have ever been in my life. There is a lot more detail to this, but when I called on the name of Jesus, He came and saved me. I saw Him and His description fits what Bill said. I did not see him as a race, but it was like if you took some chalk

Jesus died to take away the sin of the world, not to save us from Hell. The wages of sin is death, not Hell. God told Adam and eve they would surely die, not go to Hell. 1 Cor 15:22 says, "As in Adam all die, so also in Christ, ALL WILL BE MADE ALIVE!

If God is real, then why does it not just anahilate Hell ? If I were an Infinite being, and an infinitely good one at that, then I`d just anahilate the place. Make it cease to exist - therefore putting any being there out of it`s misery. In fact, I`d do that if I were only half good.

Before choosing who to serve, I need to know what supernatural entities there are. None of them have made themselves known to me. I can't wilfully serve any being if I don't know it exists.

Given an *honest* choice, why'd anyone go (and stay) to hell? Of course for it to be a fair choice, you'd have to know the alternatives for sure. So, when God appears with the choice between heaven and hell, I'll surely choose heaven.
But that's not how it really works, right? What you call "a choice" is actually a requisite that I must have blind faith in something I have no reason to believe in, to choose one unjustifiable belief from thousands just like it. It's not a choice. It's lottery.

I can't choose to suddenly believe in something I see no reason in believing. It's God's job to prove his existence to me. Like in this video, God allegedly sent a vision about hell. Now, that's compelling, isn't it? Seems hardly fair that some people get this kind of evidence while others get none.
Anyway, feel free to pray for me. You're not the first one to do that, though. To date no one has persuaded God to convert me. But maybe he listens to you more than the others.

The bible passage I was referring to is Exodus 2:24-26. It seems it depends on translation whether Zipporah touched Moses' member with his sons foreskin or merely cast it on his feet. Having read the bible obly in finnish I didn't know such ambiguity existed. At least the message bible has the same meaning as the finnish bible (both of them actually).
