8000 people is ALOT considering Iceland's population. They could easily have a revolution and establish a paradise.

Yes, in fact one of the largest protesting event in the history of Iceland. This is like 8 million people would be protesting in USA.

That's also true that police would not stand a change against this many angry people.

Icelanders are very peaceful nation but if nothing changes then it's just matter of time when we will see revolution by the people.

I heard the cops used pepper spray on hundreds of protesters. I wish there was video of that. Never would have though such unrest was likely in Iceland.

Yes, they used pepper spray on protesters 22.nov after they had broke into a police station. Few months ago this situation was not possible in Icelanders mind, in fact the collapse took just one week but we will be dealing with the consequences for the next 5-10 years or more!
