Some tried to speak out, and saw it happening but for reasons completely different than Schiff. You should realize that Glenn Beck and Alex Jones are just two sides trying to capture the Ron Paul movement. Dr. Paul's ideas are important. If your girlfriend thinks you are crazy for supporting Ron Paul.. I suggest converting to Rothbardian anarcho-capitalist (like I did). That will - for sure - either get you a break up or away from the conspiracy and into the correct sphere of ideas.

PS: Rothbard is a whole lot more consistent than Ron Paul.

I have my own views thanks, I will probably discuss someday later, and it is something along the lines of old Irish and Icelandic anarchy and ridiculously local socialism. I feel that government is the ultimate monopoly and and we should be given a choice, however building new infrastructure will be difficult. More on this subject in the next few months.
