@DHSDG One of your metal gear games on the NES is crappy cheap "fake" sequel. Its not canon. Kojima said so. You want the real metal gear and metal gear solid snake (the real sequel to the nes and MSX original) go hunt down MGS3 subsistence. It has both. The Original MSX games, I have subsistence and MGS, Metal Gear and Metal Gear solid snake are the only MG games worth playing. But feel free to pop in 3 and take it for a play. Compared to those 3 its crap, but to MGS 2 its ok.

Solid is not dead. He will live on. The new anticountermant for the foxdie that was implanted by Derbin will counter the naomi's one & it has also given AI to nanomachines so Naomi's foxdie was made to kill Bigboss,Ocelot,Eva & Zero. Big Boss knew about it. He accepted his death to put end or still he will again wake up against Solid just as he killed Zero in end. Look & see on MGS wiki. not wikipedia.

To this day, This have been one of the few games that has always had me come back for more. Always wanting to know what would happen next, and it did not fail in doing that.

It's just not about the gameplay, it's about the actual connection/attachment you get with the characters, as if they were real people.

This will always be one of the greatest games that I will ever play.

he'd only die in 6 months because of foxdie, at the end the mutant strain stopped the foxdie from growing, so he can age normally again. so he should live past 6 months. but if mgs5 is getting made it'll probably link like number 3 to the nes version before mgs1, becuase the story ENDS on mgs4

That video only had Snake putting a gun into his mouth and as everything faded to black, you hear a gunshot.

Doesn't really show him killing himself but you can make the assumption. However play the game. You'll enjoy it.

After playing MGS3, you realize just how great he is.
