  • Ha-ha, she calls the "lyre" a "liar"

  • OMG I used to watch this when I was a little boy, so many years ago, what a nostalgic time I just had

  • What ever happened to Little LuLu?

  • I guess most modern musicians would have to go to the Musical Court of Justice - especially singing off-key without tune and still become recording artistes!

We are definitely in dire need of a Musical Court of justice !

  • i had this on vhs also! but it was all these mixes of old cartoons i remember the 2nd one was woody woodpecker and it was called something like 100 greatest cartoons or something and it had like a pale blue cover and ive always wanted to find it but i couldn't!

  • WHY DID CARTOONS FUCKING CHANGED!?!?!?!? Damn, it's not even from my generation and STILL I think it's 10000000 times better than cartoons today!!! At 18 years old, I can still enjoy this cartoon, but if I watch one of today's cartoons, I only wanna shoot myself -_____-'

  • @Gudulpif AMEN! I'm 18 here. I do like the older Lulu better, she was more rebellious. But damn, I fuckin hate Nick and Carton Failwork, they got RL SHOWS ON THAT SHIT!

  • This Lulu is much cuter than the relatively recent remake version.

  • The original bad girl!!

  • My kids are only going to watch the classical. Today's cartoons turn little girls into sluts and little boys into thugs.

  • If anyone wants to help me recite the poem in the court, say so.

Here comes the judge. Come on. Rise, guy.

I want order in the court.

    You're a wise guy.

What's the big case, you silly fool you?

  • (what did the saxophone say after that?)

  • i never liked playing the violin.I don't blame her 4 wantin to play baseball

  • "This fiddle made for caresses,

Alas and a lack (or was it alac(k)?)

    Instead of being petted,

    Little Lulu carved her back."

  • I LOVE THESE OLD CARTOONS!

  • Lesson: Practice your musical instruments for a certain amount of time, right?

  • close.. lol. do as your told and appreciate the things you have.

  • The final music played sounds like Lulu learned her lesson in more ways than one.

  • i have this on tape somewhere to, thanks for uploading i miss this show!

  • 'no no say it aint so, no no say it aint so' XD

  • ese capitulo se ve interesante!

  • @daniesmiley me too,lol

  • Oh I MISS this soooooooo much...:)

  • One of the writers was Otto Messmer, who created (and head animator of) Pat Sullivan's "Felix the Cat" in the 1920's, and also wrote and drew "Felix"'s daily and Sunday comic strip for King Features at the time. This was one of the last cartoons he worked on...

  • this was my favorite episode. so far out how Lulu has these dream sequences.

  • Watched this all the time as a kid...man major nostalgia.

  • this is my favorite carToon Show when im still a chilD..

  • Thanks!

  • love this show!thanks for upload!

  • same i used to watch this all the time whe i was a kid

  • Lol I used to love this show when I was

    a kid in the 90's. I remember

coming home from school popping in a Little Lulu

tape and sit there till dinner.

    Good times.

  • what's your problem? Little Lulu is just awesome! I love her!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's cute and smart. Nobody likes violin! she is not lazy, it's just that she likes baseball more than music, that's all!

¡La pequeña Lulú es lo máximo! =) con decirles que yo me llamo Lulú también jejejeje

  • I like Little Lulu comics, just not this particular cartoon. Horrible music too.

  • Our parents were much more authoritarian in that era, and these cartoons depicted the playful side in all children that like to test boundaries. I find that most of these old cartoons always had a moral lesson that showed us the consequences (in a humorous manner) for breaking the rules. Love these cartoons!

  • These style of cartoons gave me nightmares as a child... i dunno why... something about them just was creepy....... but i think Lulu was one of the few I found ok, along with Felix the Cat...

  • This show traumatized me as a child. I swear it creeped me out so much. Someone got me that tape when I was little of this exact episode. The music and the animation scared the crap out of me. I couldn't even watch the whole thing right now.

  • she used the violin as a bat! thats still abuse!

  • Adorable. Some of these had sequences that seem to me should be scary to a kid. I've rewatched some of these old cartoons, and they strike me that way anyway. They're still the best ever. Thanks.

  • I miss clever cartoons like this. Everything now is mostly crap.

  • @NonsensicalHandle i totally agree:( i wish they at least still played thesones like these.

  • @NonsensicalHandle I agree with you! That was meant to entertain the kids and it was well thought (I like the word you chose "clever"). Now, cartoons are meant to either educate the children so the parents won't have to do it themselves or just make them laugh at some stupid jokes that people tell with retarded faces.

  • They were the best in caricatures! and still are!And I do not belong to the 1940 or 50!

  • i never knew she could talk..

  • 1947 they showed lulu show at world war II?

  • duh?! check your dates, !d!0t

  • Paramount Pictures' cartoon division, Famous Studios, made "Little Lulu" cartoons between 1943 and 1948. So, while yes, some of them were made during World War II, this one was made two years after the war ended.

Also, these weren't made as part of a television show. They were designed to be run in movie theaters before or between the main features.

  • De 1947?? esta bien esa fecha??...

  • This stuff is gold they should show these old cartoons on kid's tv instead of the modern rubbish.

  • wow! I haven't seen this cartoon in at least 10 years....oh the memories

    thanks for uploading this =)

  • Cute little violin.

  • Man I loved this cartoon! Mainly because the whole thing was a musical kinda!

  • so cute!

but the music notes were scary!

    ahahaha

  • Adorable! Thanks for posting.

  • this episode use to give me the willies back in the day, lol....

    classic

  • lol!! that is very weird i also prefer the new version!!!

  • woo hoo lol

  • d best

  • Did they ever show LuLu's mom or just her dad on the cartoons?

  • i believe they do only in the new ones, but perhaps in the oldies as well.

  • So far I only saw Little LuLu & her father on the old Little LuLu cartoons...

  • & I think I heard Little LuLu's mother's voice on the old Little LuLu cartoon where she went fishing 1 day instead of going to school.

  • AH! that would be correct.

  • OMG i remember this show. i miss it sooo much.

  • Damn! Lulu sure looked skinny. I like the modern version of Lulu. I wish they could bring it back.

  • HBO family version?

  • Yes.

  • Haven't seen it in a while myself.

  • oh it brings me back....

  • Aww, I LOVED this episode. Hee hee, this is better than any other court drama I've ever seen. XD
