I feel so privileged that I was born in the time of Yanni and his beautiful music...it is one of the few things that I have enjoyed in my life...Being surrounded by so much evil, greed, rudeness, and egoism in this world is tough and listening to Yanni and seeing this amazing fresh soul singing makes me wonder how come we do not have more people like them in this world because we really need much more people like leslie mills and yanni in this world: kind, humble, just really good heart people

Thanks for upoloading this, it's fantastic! I saw the original PBS special when it aired and bought the CD's & DVD's. Leslie Mills sings this song with such grace, and the lyrics are beautiful. Hope to see YANNY VOICES in concert sometime, I enjoy all four singers, they're incredibly talented, and they've got a great mentor! I've been listening to YANNI's instrumental CD's since mid-90's, and his music inspires me. His music relaxes and calms my spirit.

I think Leslie is the most suitable voice for Yanni, because her voice is so calm and so beautiful just like his music. You can see that her voice doesn't over come the music like others, and you can feel the words and enjoy the music at the same time.

This is my favorite Yanni song of all time. The voice is perferct, but the lyrics just don't seem to capture the feeling behind it. Furthermore, the lyrics seemed to be rushed and squeezed into places where lyrics just don't seem to fit. Yanni is a talent that can't be compared with. Many of his songs have lyrics inside the melody which we can't hear, but only feel. To Take To Hold is just one of those songs that is best left to the imagination. Great song though, but better as a solo.
