The Conductor is drawing too much attention! That poor soloist is having to work too hard...the choir should have been at a panississimo. I LOVE the baritone solo! At the opening there are quite a few pitch issues, the piece is quite pitchy through out...it drops two half steps to the end...poor basses!!! I think a better formation so that you all could have been in tune with each other would have seved this performence!!! The soprano's being over work showed in the end of the piece at 4:25...
An audience of 1? Hope not, BTW I was president of the SU Choir back in '75... Dr. Aldrich Adkins, director and Chairman of the music dept, I sang baritone...
No, I didn't graduate from SU, I transfered to a school back in my hometown of Philly, so as much as I love SU, I don't receive alumni news or invites
Hey, Marcooljerk--I'll bet I know you. I was also in the choir during that time from 1972 t0 1976. I knew Anna Pierre, Shirley Stewart, Bobby Davis, Colleen Mc Coy to name a few...
I'll bet I know you too. I was not in choir, but I was an instrumental music major at that time, and I knew those people you mentioned as well. I still keep up with SU's choir and attend some of their performances. Believe me; they still "got it"!
@mylawdjesus I was in the choir at that time too. I LOVED when Nina sang the solo. I'd get goosebumps every time she opened her mouth to sing. There were some sho nuff sangers in the choir at that time.

the choir is too loud when the soloist comes in. (Is that Elektra?)
There are some intonations problems....
As usual, Mr. Lloyd is over working himself...
And is that CJ singing his number one hit again!?!?!
