@thetideknot2 Thanks. I learnt to read music and had an organ to mess around on, but I hadn't played for over 25 years when I started having lessons. Being able to read music and knowing the piano notes was a good head start for me though.

@eebdea lol that sounds a bit like me. I need to keep practicing or I forget songs. Iearnt this song as a requestfrom a friend and had never heard the song before. I tonly took a few hours and I ended up really liking the song too :-)

No i didn't mean you , i mean people who comment and say thats not right or this isn't right. Playing the piano with melody is sometimes tricky!

I really like this, what people fail to forget is with piano, its always hard to play the melody and the bass parts at the same time, cos this has an intricate piano part anyway without the melody....good work :-)

@soc3chappd trust me, I didn't forget :-) I just sort of figure out what I want to play as I learn the song. I pretty much use the melody and then try and fit in some sort of accompaniment as best I can. I'm learning - slowly!
