  • "And without faith it is impossible to please god because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewarded those who earnestly seek him". (Heb. 11:6)LET US KEEP OUR FAITH UNTO HIM!!!

  • Thanks so much for this song

  • We must go! Thankyou Lord for changing my life, I want to serve you in every way I can!! Praise Jesus!

  • HERMOSO

  • is it just me, or do the words at the start of the song seem a little out of time with the music?

  • @Oochia Nope. They are in time, they just start at an odd time. :)

  • god bless music and the world

  • Forgive me LORD.

  • yes it's our responsibility to serve the poor

what we have is not what we deserve

we have to give :) it is a pleasure to give :)

yes WE MUST GO with his love and justice

let's go together! there are people in need surrounding us in our everyday life

let's start from our family, our neighbours, our friends, our classmates, our colleagues, people we meet on the bus, on the street. Jesus is the best sample of serving the weak and the poor, sacrificing himself for us

    we should do the same

    God bless!

  • @324smile AMEN! Freely ye Received, Freely ye Give. :D

  • love this songgg

  • for a christian song , thisis pretty neat

  • our church sang this song last sunday! while talking about a missionary work theyll be doing this year! so awesome!

  • who disliked this? you need jesus!

  • @BallinxAsian dw they will be prayed for tonight :)

  • @BallinxAsian AMEN!!!!

  • We shouldn't challenge god, but if we follow his plan for our lifes, he will make the wonder and save us from the poison.

  • Do you get what I want you to say?

If I follow the will of god and trust him - a snake can't destroy his plan so I wouldn't get hurt by it. But if a person which calls himself "christian" but this person actually doesn't trust in Jesus even if he says he does, is bite -- why should god save him from the snake poison? Only to give the persons right because they interpret the sentence in the bible in their way?

  • @fivistef The majority of the apostles died horrible deaths. Some had their heads chopped off, some were crucified, some were cut in half. Choosing to follow God doesn't guarantee you a long life, health, safety from physical danger or prosperity. In fact, it likely means the exact opposite, especially if God's plan for you is to go into foreign missions. The whole point of the gospel isn't to offer you anything other than the hope of eternity with Christ after death, which is everything.

  • @fivistef You have a very good point. We should leave everything in the Lord's hands. It's not just about following rules the way we interpret them, although it is a big factor too. We should live every day praying to God for His guidance, pray He guides us even in the next minute. We should trust in Christ to truly love Him.

    God Bless you sibling

  • I believe that god has a plan for each persons life. And ill I believe in Jesus and follow the plan he has for my life and listen to him how he wants to lead me, Jesus would not let a snake destroy his plan. But we should not challenge god. God doesn't need a person which lets himself bite by a snake to show his power.

  • ...

4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous creature hanging from his hand, they said one to another, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped from the sea, yet Justice hath not suffered to live. 5 Howbeit he shook off the creature into the fire, and took no harm.

  • @fivistef Thus one simple story in the acts of the aspostles is enough to prove that Jesus statement is right. If you are so sure, why don`t you try it yourself/

  • @fivistef If I understand you correctly, that one anecdote from the acts of the apostles( which may or may not have happened) confims that christ`s statement is true, but the thousands of believers, since Christ, who died when bitten by snakes , does not prove the opposite !!

  • @tallliza I have faith in God. However, I know that if I am playing with a poisonous snake and it bites me, I could face severe difficulties and even death. That is the reason that I do not play with them. IF I do get accidently bitten, then my life is in God's hands regardless of the anti venom I receive. If I die, then I go to be with God in heaven, if I live, then I continue to do God's work here on earth. God never promises us another day. He just wants us to be prepared.

  • @pbodymathis; You have faith in god, but you accept that his promis might be bogus. In 1939, the whole christian world, was praying litterally day and night, for peace in Jesus name... In spite of his repeated statements,... ask in my name and the father will give it to you.... what did we get ? 60.000.000 corpses. He is a liar, or didn`t mean what he said.

  • Comment removed

  • @fivistef Sometimes it takes many years until he answers... Of course he granted peace when the war was over. That`s a real good argument(lol)

  • @tallliza But you have no clue to the will of this loving God. Because of our sins, wars and natural disasters happen. WE are not promised our next breath! We should be prepared for death. Our relationship with Christ gives us life eternal in heaven. It does not give us a peaceful house in a joyous suburb and a long life and great health. Evil destroys at every chance and if it was not for God fearing men and women around the world, Hitler would have killed more. God's will, not man's.

  • @pbodymathis You are beating around the bush. Did he or didn`t he repeatedly state... ask in my name and the father will give it to you... Why then ,din`t we get peace in 1939, when the whole christian world was begging god, in Jesus name.. for peace. ?

  • @tallliza No bogus promises, Greater is the promise I have in Christ than anything else in the world? Do you understand what this means talliza.

  • 6 But they expected that he would have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but when they were long in expectation and beheld nothing amiss came to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god. 7 Now in the neighborhood of that place were lands belonging to the chief man of the island, named Publius, who received us, and entertained us three days courteously.

Paul wat bit by a serpent but the poison could not hurt him.

  • Comment removed

  • Ok. I can understand you. But do you know acts chapter 28?

    it says..

Acts 28 1 And when we were escaped, then we knew that the island was called Melita. 2 And the barbarians showed us no common kindness; for they kindled a fire, and received us all, because of the present rain, and because of the cold. 3 But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out by reason of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

  • Jesus is a liar. He said, his followers would drink poison and handle poisonous snakes without any harm.. Don`t try it, because you know what will happen, inspite of his solemn promises. You will be DEAD.

  • @tallliza Where does Jesus say these things, talliza?

  • @pbodymathis--- And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17-18)

  • @tallliza He says this in a figurative sense. He means that the dark powers of Satan can not hurt us, if we follow Jesus. But only the sentence with the serpents is figurative, the rest we can understand the way it's written!

  • @fivistef He says this in a figurative sense....With what authority do you make this claim ? What what authority do you claim to know what he meant. The default position is, to give the words the meaning they have in the dictionary. If you give it another meaning. Then you have to find a verse that specically states the opposite of the disputed verse, And if that verse is dubious, you have to prove that YOUR interpretation is the RIGHT one

  • Comment removed

  • @tallliza These wonders performed by the followers of Christ were to help non believers to believe in God and to protect the disciples in their work for the Lord. Christ was not referring that you should handle poisonous animals to confirm your faith as that would be tempting God. However, in doing God's work, believers have power over the natural world that normal people do not have but, it is all because of the power of the spirit of God that rests in them.

  • what a saviour we have <3

  • Awesome song!

  • this song lead to the best choice ive ever made and will ever make!!!!!!!

  • God if he exists, has to justify the suffering of the innocent. God cannot be just. No way !!

  • Comment removed

  • @tallliza ... Why does he? You see I used to think the same. I then thought about how God has given us enough resources (more than enough infact) but we as Men & Women are greedy, we dont share these resources equally across the earth. At parts of the world ppl are spending £3,000,000 on a christmas tree in dubai but there are kids in africa who starve to death! God gave us free will so we are not controlled like robots by God. So then how do yu want Our Father to stop suffering. Tell me -_-

  • @Bigboiwil Is your god, loving, caring, compassionate, just, almighty, yes or no ? Would a loving ,earthly father save a child when he has the power to do so , Yes or no ? Has your god control over the elements, yes or No ? So, why didn`t he at least save or spare, the 100.000 innocent children in Haiti , who perished under the rubble ? Give me a straight answer please !!

  • @tallliza Because we have free will, we not to listen to Him, nor follow His commandments. Because of these sins, we die. God never promises us our next breath or another day, He just tells us to be prepared. Could God save the world from these horrible events, yes. In fact, He did even more through His son Jesus Christ. Those who believe in Jesus, though they may die, will live again with Him in heaven. Are these children better off in Haiti or in Heaven? Things will get worse.

  • @pbodymathis You carefully avoid to answer my questions. I do not need an homily. If you can`t answer them, just say so.

  • @tallliza

Well, then state your question in a frank way?

  • @pbodymathis Why does a supposedly loving, caring, compassionate, just, almighty god, allow the innocent to suffer. ?

  • @tallliza There is no person who deserves to be with God in heaven because we have all sinned. In your eyes they are innocent but in God's eyes, they are sinners just like you and me. God has a plan for this world and He is carrying it out regardless of what man thinks. He wants a relationship with each of us and all we have to do is believe in Jesus Christ and follow His teachings and ways. Very simple and very easy but, most cannot. If we all loved our neighbor as ourself, then......

  • @tallliza Because this loving, caring, powerful, all knowing, compassionate God sent HIs son Jesus to suffer and die a horrible death. What for? Love! He loved you so much He died for your sins so you can be forgiven and live with Him forever! I believe this is why.... to wake people up to the truth of this world.

  • @pbodymathis Unfortunately, there is no evidence for the salvation story, but there are many reasons to believe, this is just a story. By the way, he didn`t have to suffer and die. He is almighty, isn`t he ? He could have chosen a pleasant way for our salvation.

  • @tallliza God could have made us like the animals but, He didn't. He made us at the top, over all of the animal kingdom, and He made us in HIs image. Why He chose this way, I cannot say. Why He chose to send His son to suffer and die for you and I, love. God did it because He loves us. If Jesus was a myth, then why did this one incident change the world like no other event in history?

  • @pbodymathis God could have made us like the animals but... He (supposedly)made us exactly like animals, except for our superior brain. And even our brain is in many ways inferior to some animals. The butterfly`s brain so tiny, finds its way to Mexico, a land it never saw.

  • @tallliza What I wonder is, if you're so dead set against God, Jesus, and anything that has to do with that, why are you listening to this song?

Now I do expect that there won't come hater reactions from this post (from anyone, not just you), it's just a simple question. ^-^

As for some Christians reading this: Get one fact straight: Believing in God, believing in Jesus and that he died certainly isn't enough. Even Satan believes those things, and you don't see 'him' singing worship songs >.>.

  • @PirateDiana Even Satan believes those things..

Satan believes nothing... To believe you must exist.

  • @tallliza And our brain can make machines to fly us to Mexico and far beyond. WE are not like the animals! WE have free will, they act accordingly to their species (instinct).

  • @pbodymathis You can believe in.. free will.. or you can believe in an omniscient god. You can`t have them both. Once the outcome of our actions is known beforehand, we are just puppets. If you force another outcome as the one foreseen by god, then your god is no longer omniscient. Only theology ( the art of word-smitting) can find a way around this.

  • Logically, God knowing what we are going to do does not mean that we can't do something else. It means that God simply knows what we have chosen to do ahead of time. Our freedom is not restricted by God's foreknowledge; our freedom is simply realized ahead of time by God. God is not limited to linear time as humans are - He is spirit. Conversely, my knowing that my child will chose ice-cream over turnips does not take away his free-will to take the ice-cream.

  • @sonlover62 ;God is not limited to linear time as humans are Who says ? You have to invent the nature of god, to circumvent this problem. Of course ..the.. Wicked Witch of the West.. is not limited to linear time either.Disprove it !!! With attributes like that ,one can prove anything.

  • @tallliza: Unless you are prepared to argue we came into being from nothing, without intelligent design, through 'beyond improbable odds' of chaos, over 'billions of years' (which is in itself a system of faith), then you must admit that design demands a designer, and creation demands there was a creator. The second law of thermodynamics agrees chaos does not move toward order. Yet here we have a very orderly universe in which we live.

  • @sonlover62 This universe is so orderly, that Nasa is scrambling to map all those wayward asteroids in our neighborhood. You seem prepared to argue, that god created the whole universe in nano-second OUT OF NOTHING ? You are certain and yet you cannot tell the world HOW he did it, WHEN he did it, or WHY he did it.

  • @tallliza If the universe was not orderly NASA would never have been able to go to the moon/mars. Of course there is much we do not know about space - I do not profess to even begin to understand it all. I will argue that God created it out of nothing - science also argues that matter cannot create itself. So where did matter originate? Regardless of our positions, both of us must employ faith as a starting point. As to HOW, WHEN, I do not know. WHY? I accept He had His reasons

  • @sonlover62 Science makes hypotheses. Valid untill somebody finds a more acceptable one. Nobody is forced to believe science. But god has to be believed or else... The universe seems to be in a constant proces of building, destroying and rebuilding. If you call that .. order.. fine You do not know the ..HOW,WHEN or WHY, but you are absolutely certain he did it. That`s bullshit, my friend.

  • @tallliza Nobody is forced to believe in God (the fact there are many unlearned "believers" does not mitigate His existence just as a bad does not mitigate the validity of science. Both camps have their 'blind and ignorant' adherents. As to the origin of matter I brought up in my last post, you do not know the HOW WHEN or WHY of the beginnings ... That - according to your own argument - makes you a purveyor of cattle-dung yourself! :-0)

  • @sonlover62 ; Both camps have their 'blind and ignorant' adherents.... Did you ever open a science book ? Science is based on reason and evidence. What is your faith based on ? A 3.000 year old book written by ignorant goat-herders. A book that you HAVE to believe, if it makes sense to you or not ? You are right, but we are not talking about the. adherents, we are talking about the stuff those adherents believe .

  • @tallliza You speak of 'reason and evidence', yet you will not address my point that matter and origins - no matter which side you come down on - both demand a level of faith. Instead you skirt the issue and level another round of attack (did you ever open a science book). Why not simply answer where matter came from? I say from a 'God' who I cannot explain, and you say 'nothing came from nothing' (a scientifically untenable position), so ....? Keep the faith Bro!

  • @sonlover62 ; Faith in science, means believing as far as logic or evidence show the truth. Faith in religion, means accepting as truth ,without evidence or logic. What science claims.. nothing came from nothing,, ? That might be taught in bible-school, but not in science.

  • @tallliza: Carry on with what you believe. It's evident you want to throw barbs and not address points of reason and logic I've offered. Either there is an designer, or it all happened by miraculous chance (with no explanation of a beginning - ie., where matter came from)! Choose whichever seems most logical to you - that is what I did. My decision is based upon nature and a revealed literary work that both scream out "intelligent design". Peace to you!

  • @sonlover62; Intelligent design exists only inte mind of the brainwashed.. Any learned observer sees all the flaws everwhere in nature , even any careful observer, can see that if there was designer, it was the worst amateur-creator.

  • @tallliza And with that ... my last point is proven!....

  • @sonlover62 Likewise.

  • @pbodymathis WE have free will, they act accordingly to their species (instinct)..... Are you suggesting that man doesn`t act according to his species ?

  • @tallliza All animals are programed to be what they are, some can adapt to changing seasons and others migrate for various reasons. Man is unlike any animal, although some act like donkeys and monkeys! lol

  • @pbodymathis You forget to mention that snakes and donkeys can talk( see the bible ). And the bible is god`s word .

  • @tallliza Because we have free will, we do not listen to Him, nor follow His commandments. Because of these sins, we die. God never promises us our next breath or another day, He just tells us to be prepared. Could God save the world from these horrible events, yes. In fact, He did even more through His son Jesus Christ. Those who believe in Jesus, though they may die, will live again with Him in heaven. Now, are these children better off in Haiti or in Heaven? Death awaits us all.

  • @pbodymathis Now, are these children better off in Haiti or in Heaven? I hope god takes your loved ones, after all , they are better-off in heaven.

  • @tallliza Yes they would be better off in Heaven! The only thing man has no control over is when he dies. Only God knows the exact second this happens. No one dies with out God knowing about it and there is nothing wrong with dying when you are saved by the blood of the lamb! It is those whose chose to not believe who will be in trouble after they die. If you do not want to believe this it is ok. God has already mentioned you and the host of others who will be turned away in the end.

  • @pbodymathis You suck all this stuff out of your tumb.. You have no evidence for all your claims. How do you know what god does or doesn`t, what he knows or what he doesn;t. Your god is the worst tyrant man can imagine.

  • @tallliza No, the one you follow and listen to, is the worst deceiver and tyrant known to man! What I know comes from the Bible's teachings and God's love for me and even you. It is there for you to read it as well.

  • @pbodymathis Satan is infantile scare-mongering. The greatest invention before the collection-plate..

  • @tallliza God is just in the fact He will give us what we deserve, hell! God is love in the fact that He provided us a way to Him through Jesus Christ. It is each and every one of us responsibility to chose. So you want justice or salvation?

  • I love this song! I sang it on a m trip to Cardiff, Wales. LOVE. IT.

  • WE MUST DECREASE SO HE CAN INCREASE..

  • @jpcs302 I'll say amen to that! Let the spirit fill us.

    God Bless

  • great song!!!

  • This song means so much to me! We have this as this weeks' song at Bible School. It reminds me of what I am doing every Wednesday; we are a group of people going out in the city, giving out buns to homeless, beggars and drug addicts. We also get the chance to listen to their stories, tell them about Jesus and share the love of God.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! A friend just told me to listen to it, and it just really hit home with me...GOD IS AMAZING!!!

  • this song is actually so powerful.

i love it, it was the first christian song that i listened to that really got to me, and everytime i listen to it- i just feel refreshed.

The first time i heard it, i cried.. alot! & people thought that was weird, but i know that this is gods way of telling me what i need to do with my life, when i'm old enough to take charge.

    i love it:')

  • its so sad how christian songs like these have so little views, yet secular music has soo much more. we must go! go tell others about our wonderful LORD and saviourr ! :D

  • just led this song like 5 times at our youth camp this past weekend. the campers, they went crazy over it. so powerful.

  • This song really speaks to me as a Christian. We need to go out into the world and spread his Word. We are His ministers on this Earth, and we should do His work. This song is all about giving back to others what God has given to us. I think it's beautiful.

  • This song was one that we did at a camp I went to this year, (Blue Ridge Christian Camp) And when It got to the , "Fill us up send us out" line I began to tear up and shake for uncontrollably, then I literally broke down... I just collapsed to my knees where I was and kept singing. that was the moment I knew God was truly with us. And I knew there was so much in my life to be fixed.

  • I love this song. The first time i heard it I cried. It has made me really think about what God wants me to do when I get older. I have come to the conclusion that I must join the US Army, fighting for the one and truly beautifal country. I want to be able to fight for the country that has provided me with so much. It's my way of giving back. My plan is to join the Army, and if I live, i would like to become a Nation Guard memeber.

  • I heard this song when I went on a retreat with a group at my college called Inter-varsity for a week and everyday during worship we sang this song and It really got me thinking and I'm really looking at going into the Peace Corps after graduation. God please keep me from just singing make me move into action.

  • @compwhiz247 that's awesome! I was at an Inter-Varsity retreat for a week this year too, was called MarkEast. We didn't sing this song in particular but I sure was motivated to want to see change happen in my life so that change can happen in others. Simply awesome :)

  • @compwhiz247 YAY intervarsity! We're singing this song at our large group this week!

  • @compwhiz247 Totally Awesome! I go to Intervarsity at ECU! We love this song and first experienced it at Rockbridge last summer. We actually sang this two days ago at our large group, it always has such a big impact on everyone.
