  • I have a dyson vacuum and it also has a washable fiter.

  • I don't understand why you would want less power for deep pile carpets.

To me, DC17 is way better. $0 for maintenance (just wash the filter under cold water. The Miele in 5 years will approximately cost $300 or more to replace the HEPA filter and bags. Dyson wins in that category.

  • Dyson, hands dow. Level 3 Root Cyclone Technology runs laps around filter bag technology.

  • The s7 is great if you like the retro look, Not to mention the hose probs! Also it is 2012 can we stop with the bags and filters????

  • miele hands down

  • will this vacuum suck the shit out of my toilet?it stuck

  • I want to see tri star vs miele. The tristar weird bag / container thingy was designed by aircraft engineers. It was designed to keep dust away from the motor filters. It sounds stupid and weird. I can't explain it. Still like dyson better though

  • Just received my second miele, thought i needed a upright vacuum, because of the carpets. Invested in this s7 model, my previous miele that still works fine s2 btw, love the s2, but love the s7 even more. Best small investment i've done this year. The noise the machine produces is almost as same as the s2 model, and the s2 model is considerably smaller. The suction is impressive, removes the hair from the carpet! LOVE IT! And guess how much i got it for???/ 330, brand new, future shop!!!

  • the video for women

  • the correct word is STUTTER. There is no such word as studder.

  • Bag vacuums are more "cleaner" than bagless

  • The Miele is AWESOME

  • "You just have to kinda stick it in" That's what she said.

  • Great video buddy! Very helpful

  • FFS get someone else to film

  • Excellent information, very good comparison. I think if I were looking for a new machine I'd go with the Miele from what you bring up in the video. Thanks for your contribution!

  • whats being gay got to do wiht a vac people who cares if he likes guys or girls its a vacume for fuck sake

  • I have a few questions for you. First, what made you purchase the Miele when you already had the Dyson? Were there issues with the Dyson that made you want to upgrade?

Do you really need to replace the filter in the Miele every year? At $50 to $60 that seems like a rather large expense compared to a washable filter in the Dyson. I'm curious if you could maybe replace it every other year or so and extend the life.

Finally, are those wheels on the Miele rubber coated to protect floors?

  • @sharpanator fooploop

  • Hmm... My mom recently got a new vacuum (A month ago... Maybe two) and it has the same handle problem, the only thing is that it keeps getting worse and now you can put the handle up and if you pick it up and set it back down the handle comes back. At first nothing was wrong or broken but now the plastic has bent some around the release lever. (It's one of those cheap vacuums that you can buy from walmart for 50 bucks). Also, which do you think is better Miele or Sebo?

  • I tried to replace my Dyson DC14 with a shopvac thinking it would not clog as much and get just as good suction. I was wrong! The shop vac clogs worse than the Dyson and doesn't have nearly as good suction as the Dyson. The Dyson clogs, but still has suction even when clogged. You don't realize how good the Dyson is until you try using something else.

  • HANDS DOWN MIELE IS THE BEST, DYSON IS A GREAT RUNNER UP. BUT I LIKE MY FLOORS STERILE AND THE MIELE DOES THE TRICK! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

  • @Vacuumboy94 Great video. I research every tool that I purchase from jackstands to chainsaws. I get more enjoyment during the pursuit of a particular product. I am thinking of purchasing the cat and dog Miele S7260 along with a parquet floor brush as the reviews are consistantly positive. I also like a good deal and found one currently being sold at my local dealer for $599. Miele may allow the dealer to discount another $50 or $100 in February.

  • @bobcat101100 I have a full size Dyson. It's big and clunky. They don't even make them in England anymore. They are made in Malaysia now.

  • @TurboFuss1 Can I turn off the brush bar on a SEBO vacuum?

  • @bobcat101100 I bought a Sebo X4 2 weeks ago, it's excellent. The brush bar is automatic. Also, it's really easy to remove the brush bar if you need.

  • @TurboFuss1 So the brush bar turns on and off automatically I like that. Also, can I get a mini turbine attachment for the sebo with it or do I buy it separate?

  • @bobcat101100 You buy that separate. I think it's $50. It has a few attachments included. The hose is one of the best things on the Sebo since you pull the handle right out and use it.

  • @TurboFuss1 So I just got the belt for my DC17 and it's more than just a belt problem because when I went to clean the rug in my living room the brush bar like turned off as soon as it turned on.

  • The US get such better Dyson models to the UK. Love the clear view of the brush bar and the blue cyclone.

  • i had an Oreck for 5 years, but it broke. I ended up getting a Dyson ball, and found that it was a clunky, overpriced piece of crap that couldn't even get underneath my 7-foot high bed!

  • In all honestly, all new Dysons blow anything out of the water. Take my words however you wish but there really is nothing better.

  • @DJBR3ED25 What do you mean blow anything out of the water? How do you mean?Be more specific on exacltly how the Dyson's are better?

  • I need to get the belt on my dc17 ANIMAL CHANGED.

  • Dont judge this guy how he talks

  • nice review

  • I have that exact Miele. I went to a proper vacuum store to buy a Dyson and walked out with that instead. Never had a single regret either. Nice and quiet too. One thing to note about the bag indicator on the Miele. If you have pets that shed frequently the indicator will show the bag is not as full as it is. I usually check it before operation by patting the bag to see if it feels full.

  • @ vacuumboy94 Im j/k man I liked the vid

  • Out of curiosity, are you gay? You seem to speak with that "fabulous" lisp. No offense.

  • @sashmuscle Yes I am.

  • @Vacuumboy94 our dysons belt snapped

  • @Vacuumboy94

Only a gay will come up with a video of comparing two vacuum cleaners or 2 lipsticks, real men will compare BMW vs. Benz and all that

  • @sashmuscle I felt a little bit confused as I don't catch anything special in his voice...just male voice - that's it! ;-)

  • @sashmuscle What does that have to do with anything? I really don't get it. What's wrong with you? This a vacuum comparison video and here you are asking dumb irrelevant questions. YOU are what's wrong with this country.

  • @sashmuscle LOLOL, stop acting like a smart ass! hahahah

  • @Asim2846 Acting like a smart ass? I had a presumption based on his speech which he answered to already.

  • i just bought the Dyson DC28 Animal and over all its not to loud and works pretty good

  • @zunehdrocks Miele

  • @jamesrebel130 Your funny.

  • SomebodyPLEASE respond back to this but I have a dyson that is simliar to the 1 on this guy's channel it is gray & yellow(I do know its spreads) & we have husky(dog) shes spreads like heck & I have almost always have to vaccum with the dyson but first off we had the Dirt Devil m086910 which spreads even morebecause we had a dog that she had her bones getting old dying from that at the age of 15 living a full life of her own anyways which vc should I use bc she sheads alot so which 1 we use M rD

  • you want a mens vaccum get a shop vac sucks up everything water dirt you name it

  • i really want a mile upright to go with my mile s2110

  • omg i love the couloir of your dc17

  • @Ratje1a In america Miele and all high end brands are sold through vacuum stores. Some buy on the internet. But alot more buy from teh store. I should know I work at one.

  • Thanks for the excellent informative video.

I was once a Dyson absolutist, but now I am open-minded.

  • Great job on the video. I really enjoyed that. You have a very clear voice for these vids.

  • so which is better?

  • @superdodobird: Well Its your choice lol. I Honestly like both... If u have a dog that sheds like CRAZY! the dyson is a little bit more friendly but If you have allergies the miele wins by a long shot.

  • @Vacuumboy94 the tripod isnt your fault

  • I have the Miele S-7 Tango. Out of curiousity, why do you need to own both of these machines? They are both expensive...isn't one vacuum enough?

  • @tonicair I get bored easily and when I get tired of one I go buy a new one..

  • @tonicair Dude seriously.. READ THE CHANNEL AND THE BLOG I collect vacuums. I Have a vacuum for every day of the week and then some.

  • @Vacuumboy94 Lol!! OMG!! Some people are just so not in tune with their brain or something...All they have to do is actually read!! Please keep up the great videos:)

  • Great video, but out of curiousity, why do you own both? I have the Miele Tango S-7, but why would you need to buy both of these high priced machines?

  • Thanks I agree. My mother own the Genesis a South African water filtration brand and that thing does work for my allergies. I so hate it

  • what vacuum cleaner is the best for allergies? Miele, sebo or water filtration?

  • Miele 1000% I have bad allergies and this vacuum has been the best so far! Way better than the dyson. Make sure u use the active hepa filter and replace it once a year.

  • awesome video! i plan on subbing! :)

  • i used to love dysons until i got miele it was second hand and the bag and filters hadnt been changed it still beat the dyson hands down.

  • Lol..Wow..I guess enough said.I'm glad you love the new Miele s7.I am saving to buy this cleaner and another one.Keep up the good videos. Thanks:)

  • I noticed that the rear wheels fold underneath the Miele when the handle is rocked back for carpet cleaning. The wheels basicly disappear.I bet this would make it drag on the deep carpet and make it feel heavier than what it is.How would you compare the airflow thry the hose between the two. Thanks again:)

  • I would say that the miele has more when the dial is on the smooth setting. Dysons just can not compare.... I was a die hard dyson user and had at one point all the models but sense I bought my miele I have sold almost all of my dysons.

  • Very good demostration of the two.I really like the Miele s7 alot. How do you think they compare on deep carpet cleaning? Thanks.

  • @panaclean775 - I sadly would say that the dyson would be the best because the Miele can feel pretty heavy when its used in deep carpet. The dc17 was designed for homes with thicker carpets. But its your preference. They are both awesome cleaners! But if you have low pile like me the Miele wins by a long shot!
