  • Honestly , wheni first saw the video I thought the same thing . i assumed you weighed between 170 or 180 pounds. But if you say so man , i believe you. how tall are you? Have you ever repped out 225 ? Wheni was 164 i hit it 14 times before i went to the bahamas. I use to weigh 210 and i leaned up for my trip and my friend bet me i couldnt hit 225 for ten so i did it 14 times. When i was 210 i would warm up with 225 and go up to 295 on my last set. But good luck to you man , very strong.

    He works at a grocery store on Maui. He still lifts but hasn't competed in at least 5-8 years now.

  • Great lift, my friend. Great lift! My best was 265 at a bodyweight of 136 when i was younger. Today as I near 42 I am in the mid 400's with a bodyweight of 223. I still have yet to double bodyweight bench! Ha ha ha!

    There are seriously a bunch of moronic pricks that respond to these videos, huh? In my 30 years in the gym I have learned that I don't know shit. I laugh when I read these 200 lb benching "experts". Advice to them--shut your mouth and take notes. :) Again...great lift!

  • to me i don't think his weight is 155 pounds!I bench press 265 pounds at 138 pounds only because strength runs in my family!My dad was a power lifter back in the 40's!He used to one hand lift 205 over his head with one hand, with his right side only!The most i got with one hand is 140 pounds with my right side only and i have a pic of 135 pounds on my profile of my doing it!Now this dude is in this video is way thicker than me!I think his body weight is between 165,175!I am 140 so that tells u!

  • @ocealot2 i have never been over 160 in my life  i am now about 152lbs. i will make a video of me with a scale to prove my weight and do pull-ups with 75-100lbsadded weight for reps. maybe that would shed some light on the non believers. keep up the good work and keep in tune

  • @joeyacurarsx if you was skinny than yes i'll say you are 155.Pull-ups?I remember doing them in school.Try doing them with someone holding you down!Pull-ups with weights isn't that hard.Try power curl 200 pounds or hammer curl!I have iron plates and i do them with those!I think lots of people on youtube lie about their body weight!I know this for a fact!Short people could have lost of body weight!I know people that are shorter than me, but their body weight is more than mine!Talk to ya soon!

I think we are talking about 2 diferent things because there is no fucking away John Grimek as skinny as he was could come anywere near Zydunas in strengh...he is the worlds strongest man after all, just google it too.   • very good - try to make a 300+ rep with pause and it'll be even more impressive - regardless this rep went smooth dont get me wrong or anything it was a decent lift!

  • guys like me and you always get looked at like were on something and alot of people need to understand that small guys who train alot sometimes can beat the shit outta big guys on the bench. im 17 and 5'7 at 122 pounds and i lift 250 for one rep and 190 for 10. keep it up, although by now ur probly at 350

The only way is if you have less than 4% body fat if your 5'7''! am 130 benching 255 but my height is 5'3'' another thing to, lets say you did bench 250 at 122 with a height of 5'7'' then you probably have a big upper body and dont have much muscle in your lower body! make sure you are proportial!! correct me if am wrong but Ive been working out for more than 10 years!!!
