He's right. Cops don't wear seat belts and they often speed without a good reason. I've had cops blow past me (speeding) and caught up to them at the light at the next exit only to see them casually drive into a gas station near where I live. I drove into it behind them and they were there for any kind of emergency or anything. Im not going to disagree with this video, given that I completely agree that all police officers (our enforcers of our laws) should wear their seatbelts. However, from personnal experience it is difficult for a police officer that is right handed (which happens to be a very large amount of them) to wear his/her seatbelt given that sadly in all current police vehicles their seatbelts have a high possability of getting caught on their sidearms. Which may cost his/her life if a incident arose.

He's right. Cops don't wear seat belts and they often speed without a good reason. I've had cops blow past me (speeding) and caught up to them at the light at the next exit only to see them casually drive into a gas station near where I live. I drove into it behind them and they were there for any kind of emergency or anything. Im not going to disagree with this video, given that I completely agree that all police officers (our enforcers of our laws) should wear their seatbelts. However, from personnal experience it is difficult for a police officer that is right handed (which happens to be a very large amount of them) to wear his/her seatbelt given that sadly in all current police vehicles their seatbelts have a high possability of getting caught on their sidearms. Which may cost his/her life if a incident arose.
