I just found this channel and must say i love it. Have not had a chance to view through all. I heard that i should get out of my default settings. And to stay away from Dynamic mode but i find that Movie/Film mode are too dark for me. I have a Dark lit game room and am using a 55 Samsung 3D 8000 2010 series tv. any advice.?

motion blur can be a really good thing especially in watching epics of fantasy movies. I mean 240hz is kind of cool I guess, but with all of thems HZ's it's going to make the viewer self aware of when a movie is being shot on a set in the back lot of a studio by how fake it looks due to the quality.

These guys have no idea what they're talking about. You don't lose resolution with motion, are they just making this up? Motion blur is fixed now and it never had anything to do with the refresh rate. 120hz and 240hz are both marketing gimmicks and if anything, they corrupt the image.

when watching a movie (film is shot in 24p) it invents fake or duplicate frames this makes the movie look too smooth. ie; it looks like its been filmed on a krappy cheap camcorder. Movies start looking like normal soaps which is seriously not cool. It doesnt look like it did in the theatre. However for sports the smoother the better!

Well the tv is suppose to insert 2 or more frames into the original amount of frames... so instead of having 2 frames in a 60hz tv you would have 8 frames because it just multipies the amount of frames in each frame to make the picture look less juddery and more focused...

No problem. You're right, all of a sudden a 540hz TV for additional thousands of dollars will be on the market. I'm just as fine with a 32", 60hz (which looks great on my PS3 and Blu-Ray's), 1080p HDTV.
