Quit WoW 6+ years of work, Toons deleted (for addicted players like me)

coming up on 1 year of playing wow. I think 1 expansion is enough, especially considering the game isnt getting better from what i can see. 7/7 heroic firelands, fully geared rogue in pve and pvp. I've made plenty of friends in the game and enjoyed competing in arena and for server firsts. I might stick around for the legendaries but I'm just not excited about the game like I used to be. I know many have been playing a lot longer, I can't picture playing this game for years and years.

Good job dude! ive been playing wow on and off, started back in vanilla, quit when wotlk came out and started new account in cata.. Got a 85 pvp rogue and a 85 prot pala ;D but dunno if i want to delete em <.< even tho i dont play the game anymore. I know its just a game! but thats a account you have played for 6 years, so i cant imagine how hard it would be to press Enter after you have typed in DELETE ;o

But i dont play wow anymore, I started playing alittle bit League of legends, and waiting for Battlefield 3 ;D going to be my new cancer ;p haha

I just recently quit, but honestly you didnt delete much. And no possible way he could of gotten $5000 for a couple 85s and a bunch of old characters with outdated titles, I'd say maybe* a few hundred tops. No T2, no recognizable titles, no season titles considering the gear. But other than that, props to you bro for quitting...feels good doesn't it?

You can log in up to 2 months later and they'll be able to restore everything for you though, just saying. But I don't know, I've never had this problem, I always think; real life > wow, and it works out fine. After all games in general should be considered hobbies(unless you're developing or otherwise working with it), and you don't tend to hobbies every day.

I have played wow since patch 1.08 and that was back in may 2005. Damn times go by when you play wow... 6 years of my life gone to wow game... amazing how addicted you can be of one silly game...

@nblitz I wont go back, I went back 6 other times in the past nothing changed, The attitude u have about it was the way i was. then i realized "oh shit im addicted" and laughed at those who were. The game isnt worth the time period. Casual playing or hardcore. Blizzard is a bunch of money hungry people who dont care about there players. Dont get me wrong i will try out D3, but they will try and pull a fast one sooner or later and be like WOW IS FREE!!!, but d3 is now 15$!!! :"(

Unfortunately I'm in grad school at a university, have an incredibly promising 6 figure and plus future but I'm on the verge of throwing it away because of this game.

@corpsdge Thank you and actually I'm 23 just sound young, and yea I have a 5 month old child and was throwing that away. Means alot what you said. Stop while your ahead, this game isn't worth it. I made this video in hope to maybe help others quit, showing them there not alone. This is my together to the top in my own way. Please like and favorite and spread the word thank you.
