  • is that u on him?

  • I can do the passage only with just a plain loose ring snaffle just using my leg and seat bones as a back in forth swing on my hips the horse that Im working with loves it and is so willing to dance with me I hope to slow in down to the piaffe I no not what to ugrade the bit in anyway I want the horse to love to dance with me.

  • thats a passage....

  • good work! it´s so hard for horses to understand why they should do trot without movinh forward. im training passage whith my mare and she rarely understands what i want from her.

  • the music is great for this video!!

  • ya that is MUCH more of passage..no that IS passage

  • I am sorry, IT IS PASSAGE indeed. If you search for "Andariego en Tarima" he is now doing a wonderful piaffe on a wooden board. Sorry, hope you like the piaffe on this other video if you get the chance to see it.

  • that doesnt look much like piaffe... it looks much more like passage

  • Looks nice =)

  • I train horses for other people at my ranch and so I must look for ways to teach the horse faster. I don´t stay witho one single horse for years and years. If I don't look like a pro is because I am not, I am an Economist, and MBA from UCLA end even an Ex-Skyidiver (27 Surgeries BTW). Still, look at this horse ONE YEAR LATER. Write "passage piaffe spanish stallion". I do welcome advicebut please be more specific and if possible show me your videos.

  • O M G! the rider moves himself more than the horse does. not very professional...

  • Hy Javier, greetings from Austria!!Can he sing too with the Abba lyrics? Nice passage good horse, but piaffe- woukld suggest to go another way, maybe from ground, out of walk, slower rhythm, more under the centre, just start to raise back legs with whip and then after a while start to piaffe on the hand ...much luck Lisa

  • Now My little statment here is comming from a training level dressage ridder but I've been watching alot of FEI videos so here my statement :Cute horse, would like it a little bit more collected in the passage but if you trying to teach it the piaffe i understand the collection can get, messy. In the passage very cute freedom in the front, could see a bit more but he's not as advance, and in the piaffe I could like to see more freedom comming from both front and back. love your horse though!!

  • I so much appreciate your comments. I have other videos of this horse 8 months later in trainning. I can´t put a page address here (it's forbidden) but if you look for "caballo español a la alta escuela" the first two videos will be mine. I'd appreciate some advice on those too if that not too much asking. Thanks so much, Javier.

  • A good passage;D

  • Well the first thing is the language of course; this horse is Spanish speaking and having him understand Abba lyrics was tough. After that just a couple of semesters in rythm and voilá.

  • lmao!!

  • haw do u teach a horse to do that its amazing !

  • Forget passage; it has taken me years to educate this horse's ear to the beat. You should see him dance Pagganinni (ha ha ha)... Thanks

  • Great movement! I couldn't help but laugh, though with the music going along with this-it looks like the trainer is swaying to it. Very nice horse though

  • You are absolutelly right; it's a mistake I make because we started with the passage to shorten him gradually to the piaffe, which he is now doing pretty well. Aside from "horse dancing on a board" I'll try to post some piaffe in land.

  • You look very nice though:)

  • I would rather call that passage...

  • Idiot a horse learns to piaffe better through the passage.

  • Hehe, know that. But what he's doing there is still passage, idiot :)

  • Ale to a początku to chyba był pasaż, dopiero potem piaff, tak??

    Piękny koń ;]

  • estos son caballos de hacienda ,,,merrecuerda la hacienda san antonio de potrerillos en usulutan el salvador 1975

  • Buenos Dias Javier, how old is his horse, is he a stallion? What else have you been training him to do? Is he Andalusian or Lusitano? I would like to see him more soft through back and a little more forward, at the moment he is very hollow through his back, otherwise, calm

  • Great movements, beautiful horse
