is it true that glasspacks get louder as they get older.... also... im thinking about running aftermarket exhaust on my truck when i get it.... i was wondering what exhaust was best for alot of noise for a cheap price.... any help will be appreciated
@85forddiesel glasspacks are cheap and loud but really you get what you pay for. All mufflers will get louder with time so yeah what you heard is probably true. If you dont get fully stainless exhaust and you live anywhere close to where i do or they use salt on the road, its good for a year then its all rotted off. Also, the bigger the piping does not mean the louder it will be at all, big piping on a stock motor will make it work worse
hell yeah i have a 96 f150 with mud brute tires and straight pipes and have never raced it but a good looking truck hope to see more videos like this one. foeighn cars suck anyway, american muscle is the way to go

Just because you bought a celica with a 140, or 180 hp engine made for fuel economy NOT speed doesn't make it a shitty engine. I guess you've never even heard of a Toyota Supra, who's "shitty" toyota engine produces 320hp STOCK and if swapped out for a single instead of TT's can push 1100 hp with stock internals and last 200k miles......

Gts. The VVTL-I in the 2zz-ge's system pulls for next to nothing in a take off. It's all high end power. That's why he'll win when you're already moving, but there's no torque til 6800 rpm or so. The GT can beat the GTS from a dead stop til about 20 mph.
This year of the F-150 are getting hard to come by, I was lucky to find one in great shape at a dealership in East Palestine Ohio. Great place they have alot of F-150s with this body style in great shape, no rust, and reasonable mileage.
Um i dont remember exactly but the first time i only did a custom cat-back and i think it was around 200. then i bought new cats and ran the true duals for around 200 again. So i guess around 400 with labor. I'd recomend a true dual setup anyday though...it sounds ALOT better
cant beat the engine in a ford. love my 95 f-150. I have the two tone red and silver paint, 5.0 v8, dual gas tanks, tow package. It runs great, I just want to put bigger tires on it, and maybe a brush bumper.

lol you guys with your fuckin civics and yotas. you think they are so cool cause they have fast acceleration. thats all there good for is good take off. the only yotas i like are carollas cause they are so durable everything else can suck a nut. yeah supras are fast but they aint got no ass on em. ill take american muscle over jap crap anyday. im a chevy guy but i gotta say nice ford man i would buy that baby ina heartbeat.

Gts. The VVTL-I in the 2zz-ge's system pulls for next to nothing in a take off. It's all high end power. That's why he'll win when you're already moving, but there's no torque til 6800 rpm or so. The GT can beat the GTS from a dead stop til about 20 mph.

This year of the F-150 are getting hard to come by, I was lucky to find one in great shape at a dealership in East Palestine Ohio. Great place they have alot of F-150s with this body style in great shape, no rust, and reasonable mileage.

Um i dont remember exactly but the first time i only did a custom cat-back and i think it was around 200. then i bought new cats and ran the true duals for around 200 again. So i guess around 400 with labor. I'd recomend a true dual setup anyday though...it sounds ALOT better

cant beat the engine in a ford. love my 95 f-150. I have the two tone red and silver paint, 5.0 v8, dual gas tanks, tow package. It runs great, I just want to put bigger tires on it, and maybe a brush bumper.
