for those who liked THE ICEPICK on this choon, i still have black, and limited edition special RED vinyl copies of "TRUE HEART" 12" single, for sale. for those that live in LDN, i can be contacted through various mediums; if you live outside of LDN/ the UK, DISORDA of SUSPECT PACKAGES is "the man" to contact, for both colours. oh yeah, classic choon...and KAMANCHI SLY's part was 'killer'.

@ramjam03 Re, MC Duke... He was one of the first rappers we approached to be on the Beyond the 16th Parallel track. If I remember correctly, he had beef with Overlord X at the time. Anyway, we somehow managed to get him to agree to do it, but I think he had some overseas dates that conflicted when the original recording date got pushed back... Something like that.
this is brilliant. does anyone know where i can get a copy of the lyrics? I remember they were on the back of the 12". I'm a teacher and would like to use them with a class alongside some poetry- because,
I've had this tune since I read about it in HHC when I was 15! The amazing thing is, 20+years later and it doesn't sound remotely dated! Thank you theicha for making this happen and for reminding people! I saw MC Mell'O' live at the Africa Centre at a thing called The Rhythm Mix that year too - pretty good going for a 15 year old schoolboy who lived on a farm in W.Wales!
wow those was da days so many crews working has one and a MP in da mix to fight da good fight some thing like that could never happen now they havent got da guts its a shame this song got no air play at all or press time big up too GATECRASH for having the guts too put this together and rest in peace BERINE GRANT we miss you
Yes! don't ever remove this video! it's add to my favourites!!! i loved it then and still love it now! Thank you thank you thank you Theicha for putting it up (where the hell did you find it!) Thnx again ;)
Well, Scrathophrenic, you may not know this but I was instrumental in putting the BROTHER movement together. I was in GATECRASH at the time, and the whole thing was an idea that came about from watching a news bulletin from South Africa. We contacted Hijack and Bernie Grant and the rest just fell into place.
does anyone have the london rhyme syndicate tune 'hard to the core' on mp3 as i have searched for a long time to get this tune and seeing them at the start of this video brought back some good memories!
i still think overlord x is the best uk emcee there ever has been. silver bullet is noteable by his abscence on this though.
