Majdanek was also captured intact. The reason for Auschwitz being known I think is more because of the amount of survivors and witnesses. Camps such as Chelmno nad Nerem, Sobibór, Treblinka and Bełżec had very few survivors and the witnesses were in Poland where no-one bothered to talk to them until recently.

The record for the most killings in one day was not a Auschwitz but at Madanek. During operation Erntefest the Nazi's shot 18,000 people in one day. Madanek was captured by the Soviet Army before Auschwitz as it was further west. It was used for propoganda by the Soviets, and turned into a museum before the war was even over. The Nazi's didn't want this to happen at the larger Auschwitz, and the evidence of what they did to try to hide it is still there to this day.

Many people are obsessed with the numbers of dead here or there. No one knows for certain in many cases. The allies did not bomb the concentration camps. If they had there would have been no camps to liberate! They bombed the factories near Auschwitz, but not the camp itself. Any bombs that fell there were just part of their mission.

I meant the bodies of those prisoners who died as a direct cause of being held at Auschwitz and other camps. Whether prisoners died from starvation or typhus at the time of imprisonment is still the fault of the Nazis, as they obviously weren't given enough food and the living conditions were deplorable.
Very true and I agree with you to an extent, but you also have to take into consideration that the allied bombing towards the end of the war was very extreme. Food would have been rationed and the water supply had been bombed so many of the inmates were drinking contamined water (typhus). The allies were aware of what the bombing had done, but used those 'piles of bodies' for propaganda. Yes many would have been starved deliberately and shot. I think it's the 6 mill figure that people question?

Exactly : among the 3 million Jewish Poles, 92% were exterminated, whereas 11% of the non-Jewish Poles were killed (3 million out of 27 million) during WWII.
So, more the proportion of Jewish Poles exterminated during WWII is 8 times bigger than the proportion of non-Jewish Poles killed during WWII.
Moreover, the Jewish Poles were all killed because of their race (like all the European Jews), whereas the non-Jewish Poles who died during WWII were killed in battles (during the invasion of Poland, the bombing of Warsow, etc.), or by imprisonment, or by disease, or by starvation...
So, it's totally ridiculous to compare the fate of the Poles to the fate of the Jews.
Doing so borders to the denial of the genocide of the Jews.
About 1.9 million Polish civilians (non-Jews) were killed during German occupation, they died in prisons, death camps, forced labor and concentration camps etc. I think this is quite reasonable number of people victims who need to be remembered alongside with Jews and Romans, btw there were also minorities. Also German killed in camps about 2 millions prisoners of war from Soviet block.
But those non-Jewish Poles weren't killed because of their race, they died in the war like many other people, without being specifically targeted because of their race.

@P1B1U1H1 The people who were deported first came from the business classes and refugees and were largely city dwellers. Refugees came from Nazi occupied areas. For example from Białystok, although Jews were a minority they made up two thirds of those deported to the interior of the USSR. Jews suffered disproportionately from deportations to the interior of the USSR although as it turned out this was later the main reason for the survival of Polish Jews during WW2.

Majdanek was also captured intact. The reason for Auschwitz being known I think is more because of the amount of survivors and witnesses. Camps such as Chelmno nad Nerem, Sobibór, Treblinka and Bełżec had very few survivors and the witnesses were in Poland where no-one bothered to talk to them until recently.

They went to Nazareth Israel, and stayed there. I was born in Nazareth and then game to Chicago when I was real young.

The record for the most killings in one day was not a Auschwitz but at Madanek. During operation Erntefest the Nazi's shot 18,000 people in one day. Madanek was captured by the Soviet Army before Auschwitz as it was further west. It was used for propoganda by the Soviets, and turned into a museum before the war was even over. The Nazi's didn't want this to happen at the larger Auschwitz, and the evidence of what they did to try to hide it is still there to this day.

@paolosilv It's been my experience, especially on this subject, to find as many sources as possible. Different sources may have vastly different info. Many people are obsessed with the numbers of dead here or there. No one knows for certain in many cases. There are some cases though where very precise documents still exist, showing name, date, cause of death, birthplace, etc. It's very grim and I find it amazing in it's horrific nature. C.Walker

I was talking to my jewish friends the other day when the conversation turned to the holocaust.
After listening to their views and personal stories of parents and so on,I thought I would use the opportunity to enlighten them that my grandfather had died in Auschwitz.
Their initial heartfelt sorrow and empathy soon soured when one of them asked me how he died.
He fell off the guardtower and broke his neck.

Exodus is made up ? No. It really happened! The concentration camps - they really happened. The Versaiiles Treaty - it really happened. Maybe if the Versaiiles Treaty had not been so harsh. If the Americans had come in to thne First War earlier. And, so forth. Hitler might not have done so much damage. Sixty-five years ago the war ended. Many Germans were killed and many of the allies were killed also. All the holocaust museums in the world cannot reverse history. But the Exxodus did happen.

The allies did not bomb the concentration camps. If they had there would have been no camps to liberate! They bombed the factories near Auschwitz, but not the camp itself. Any bombs that fell there were just part of their mission.

It is thought that using trains was his "contribution" the the German SS (he held rank of general in the Waffen SS). The Muslims were German allies in both world wars. Some of the worst atrocities were committed by the Ustasha in the Balkans where the Mufti raised the notorious "Handjar Divisions". The Ustasha was Muslims and Croatian Catholics Nazi's.

Then what comes gas chambers for people. I belive that there were gas chambers only for clothes desinfection. Huge masesses of people died because diseases, horrible conditions, lack of food and medicines. Hitler´s jew policy was senseless and a serious human right violation, a crime against humanity.

@babyhilts typhus or starvation most likely killed those people. The bodies were scattered all over the camp, meaning the Germans left the prisoners in the camp alone when they fled. Do you think the Germans would 'gas' them and then scatter the bodies over the entire camp?

I meant the bodies of those prisoners who died as a direct cause of being held at Auschwitz and other camps. My comment was just directed towards Seadweller who is denying the holocaust ever happened. Whether prisoners died from starvation or typhus at the time of imprisonment is still the fault of the Nazis, as they obviously weren't given enough food and the living conditions were deplorable.

Very true and I agree with you to an extent, but you also have to take into consideration that the allied bombing towards the end of the war was very extreme. Food would have been rationed and the water supply had been bombed so many of the inmates were drinking contamined water (typhus). The allies were aware of what the bombing had done, but used those 'piles of bodies' for propaganda. Yes many would have been starved deliberately and shot. I think it's the 6 mill figure that people question?

the "final solution" was the German plan to export the european jews and not an extermination agenda. The WW2 victors shamefully used the admissions made by the defeated German officers about the emigration agenda to make it look like an extermination agenda. The other factual aspect to the "final solution" was the German plan to resolve all of the territorial disputes to create peace. If the Germans aimed to exterminate they would have just matched what the communists did to their dissidents.

whenever a courtroom witness is found to have lied then the jury must disregard the entire testimony. 75% of the original WW2 holocaust stories have been proven to be propaganda lies so we the jury must disregard the entirety of the testimonies. There were no homicidal gas chambers or lampshades or soap bars or "death camps". The Germans put their dissidents into labor camps during WW2 to protect their war effort from terrorists just like America did with their japanese citizens.

USA military documented at Dachau that only 12% of the camp population were jews while the records indicate that jews were around only 23% of the Auschwitz population. Yet the stupid goyim are expected to believe that the estimated 40,000 corpses shown in all the photos and videos were jews. 45% of european adults and american adults have enough intelligence to absorb that the holocaust claims are an abusive propaganda ploy. Less than 120,000 jews died during entire WWII.

"Buchenwald was not technically an extermination camp"? Who says so? I say the 57,000 the were exterminated, were exterminated, technically or not. Auschwitz had FIFTY TWO cremation ovens, they could stuff 8 bodies into one oven, and they still had to use open air pits to keep up with the gas chambers. I looked at photographs, blueprints, and eyewitness accounts, all online.

The difference is that some camps were primarily work camps and others were dedicated to extermination only.

Which ones were "work" camps? What was their mortality rate? Under the Nazi system "work" was as lethal as gas. All the Nazi camps, in one fashion or other were extermination camps. Some were larger, more efficient, and killed quicker than others.

"Work" camps: Stutthof killed more than 85,000, Potulice 1,296, Soldau 13,000, Gross-Rosen 40,000, but I can't find totals for Zaslaw or Plaszow (said to be "very high") Inmates were murdered, worked to death, or died of disease.
There were also seven ghettos in which countless numbers died of disease or starvation as well.

Extermination camps: Auschwitz killed somewhere between 1.1-3 million (90% Jews), Treblinka 85,000 killed (99.5% Jews), Chelmno 185,000+ (most were Poles), Majdanek 79,000+ (most Polish Jews), Sobibor 250,000+ (most Jews), and Belzec 434,500+ (all Jews).

people were starving all over central europe the last year of WWII not just at the internment camps dummy. At least the people in the camps were able to hold on to all of their arms and legs unlike the people caught in the war.

Correct; everyone not of approved or of German stock were targeted in one way or another. The Jews were the primary target, but Poles and Czechs suffered greatly, too.

World history possess many episodes of genocide, for example, Armenian genocide took over 1.5 million lives, they were killed only because of race - ARMENIAN.

Exactly : among the 3 million Jewish Poles, 92% were exterminated, whereas 11% of the non-Jewish Poles were killed (3 million out of 27 million) during WWII.
So, more the proportion of Jewish Poles exterminated during WWII is 8 times bigger than the proportion of non-Jewish Poles killed during WWII.

Moreover, the Jewish Poles were all killed because of their race (like all the European Jews), whereas the non-Jewish Poles who died during WWII were killed in battles (during the invasion of Poland, the bombing of Warsow, etc.), or by imprisonment, or by disease, or by starvation...

About 1.9 million Polish civilians (non-Jews) were killed during German occupation, they died in prisons, death camps, forced labor and concentration camps etc. I think this is quite reasonable number of people victims who need to be remembered alongside with Jews and Romans, btw there were also minorities. Also German killed in camps about 2 millions prisoners of war from Soviet block.

many jews died of disease and starvation by being worked to death, the same as the europeans. 2 million dead poles and 14 million soviets does not include military deaths or POW's. (they also gassed 2-3 million soviets with gas) it does include bombs, which i know is different.
but rounding up people because of who they arnt and shooting them vs. rounding people up and shooting them becaue of who they are and shooting them... both situations are war crimes and genocide.
