I'm having the same problem that MrVenitocarlosdeleon had and nothing is showing up as ready to install, even though I'm looking right at the open iso file. Do you have any other suggestions?
Hey, thank you very very much for this tutorial. I followed all your steps and the game works great and that sound problem is also fixed. The only problem I've encountered so far is that whenever there is a cutscene (not a dialogue scene) my screen remains black, I can only hear the sound. Is there anything that I can do to see those scenes?
nvm I noticed that the sound disabled in the .ini file was set to 1, after I changed it to 0 the sounds are good, it must have changed when I was testing the game, anyway thanks for the awesome tutorial, finally playing it :)
thanks for the tutorial, I manage to install it successfully, but I'm still having sound problems, after I change the 0 to 1 then 1 to 0 there is still no sounds, is there something that I'm missing? coz I did the exact same thing on your video but there is still no sound. can you help?
Thanks for everything for this great game :D ive been waiting to play for ages just one question is there anyway to get the DLC? like on the delux of this game? thanks
@MacSimplifier Another question. When I start Origins, and reach the Character Creation thing, the faces come out completely black, can only see the eyes. Any fix?
@BorisLopezDF make sure there is no other application working other than the game. Check the video settings in the game and fix the resolution to your screen's resolution.
Someone had a similar problem and he/she said both of the solutions worked so I hope your find them helpful :)
@94vishu24 Yes u should ignore this error u encountered......as for the sound did u go for the game file I have shown in the video and made the changes I made ?!
When I open CrossOver Games so I can install the game in your video says that if keep open the file from Dragon age that automatically it tell that dragon age is ready to install and that is supported with crossover games but in mine it doesnt tells me anything only says below "Will install from Dragon Age". Why
@MrVenitocarlosdeleon Quit CrossOver Games, then Open the iso file and leave it open on the desktop. Open the Version of CrossOver Games in the link in the description above and Press on Configure then Install Software
Wait till the List is Displayed and it should tell u Ready to Install Dragon Age Origins and on the right - not supported by code weavers. Go to the next part and make sure the iso File is selected saying Will Install from DragonAge,then follow the steps normally. Hope that helped
@MrVenitocarlosdeleon hmmm did u crack it right ?! Moreover make sure u get much RAM for this game.
Try rebooting ur mac and make sure u followed the above steps correctly.
But from my perspective if u are getting this windows error I believe reinstallation will solve the problem and creating a new bottle in crossover games as well :)

@themarcus7775 hmmm yes and actually I was capable of playing using The Blood Dragon Armor.
I msged u a torrent link to the DLC Pack and Instructions as well.
Download this torrent and it will give u the instructions as well. Just remember the game files directory is in
(User) > Library > Application Support > CrossOver Games > Bottles > Dragon Age Origins > drive_c.
Enjoy !

@MacSimplifier Well, that's okay. I guess I'll just have to go with Boot Camp eventually.
