Einstein was killed after he killed Hitler, because the Soviets moved in the alternative Timeline of Red Alert. Stalin died and WWII war ended by establishing the East and West Block. So Red Alert 2-Events were eraesed from Time and Yuri was killed by KGB or NKVD because he was early exposed. The Empire waited for the their chance to make revenge to the USSR, when they lost China against Stalins Forces. After Einstein was erased, they take their chance.

The story of RA3 is literally choke-full of plot holes like this. Einstein is dead but the Allies still retain much of what he himself invented like the Chronosphere and the Prism technology was re-branded Spectrum Tech however stuff like nukes doesn't exist and he was IIRC far from the only one who pioneered the Nuclear Fission research

However if they killed Einstein before he made his time machine to kill Hitler then Hitler would still be alive and Stalin would not have been able to make his Soviet powerhouse thus RA1 and 2 never happened and thus RA3 would be without a plot and thus, non-existent

Don't forget that in this timeline Japan already controls the largest part of Sout-East Asia (the territory that they hoped to capture during WW II). With all those resources and labor under their control Japan could very easily grow into a third world power.

However I don't understand how they have as much control over the Pacific in Red Alert 3 as they did considering it was the U.S. Navy that fought them back all the way to Coastal South East China and Japan..

It is indeed goofy, but the Red Alert games are intentionally campy and over the top.

If you review back to even the original Westwood Red Alert, you can see they were all handled in the same outlandish James Bondish fashion.

If you are looking for a more serious-ish story then the regular command and conquer series or starcraft would suit you better.
