And Ron Paul said he wouldn't have voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964. When asked if he would allow restaurant owners to refuse to serve black people, he avoided answering yes or no, but basically his answer was yes, it was their right to not serve black people.

@db528 - Suppose a black restaurant owner had someone come in wearing a KKK robe. Does he have the right to refuse service to him? If your answer is yes, you'd be incorrect, according to the 1964 Civil Rights act. That is exactly why Ron opposes parts of the Act.

A restaurant owner is legally allowed to refuse service to anyone who is unreasonably rowdy or causing trouble, or if they lack adequate hygiene.

Should an employer be allowed to pay minorities and women less than white men for doing the same job? I say no.
