in romanian its tramvai, but the pronounciation is the same
the funny thing about the romanian word is its forme from tram and vai
vai is a form of expresion when something bad happens, like "ah crap"
so if it would happen to a romanian tram the word "definition" would be realy funny...or maybe its the same in polish also? XD

"Car" or "Street car" is an English and American term for that rail vehicle.
We also call railroad freight and passenger train vehicles, "cars". "box car", "tank car"
"flat car", "hopper car", "passenger car", etc.

With all those railroad people there, would they not have seen an obstruction and cleared it out of the flangeway?

This derailment appears to have been totally preventable.

Possibly, possibly not. It could be that they were there due to a previous accident and this was a test to see how it happened.

I would expect them to be able to see the problem without actually derailing the tram.
I'm very curious.
The videographer should have shown a closeup of the track where the problem occurred.
Then show closeup of the derailment happening. Then show track after they rerailed the tram and it was out of the way.
