I STILL watch this video EVERYDAY!!! Simply can't get enough of the Ryu!! Because of your beautiful videos, I have purchased a Butch Vallotton Spyderco and now have a Ryu ordered. I don't know if the Ryu will be as beautiful as yours, though.The alienskin on yours seems to be a lot deeper in color and "texture" than other WT knives that i've seen. I was wondering if you specifically ordered it that way. Stay safe. Oh, and good job on the turtle!

I have said it before and I will say it again, you have some of the best knives on Youtube. Always enjoy your reviews. I consider this knife more of a work of art than a knife I would carry for self defense or tactical uses.

@nls8520 Appreciated :) I do consider this knife piece of art too, and I have struggled so much before carrying it. Good thing about custom knife is that you can always send it back to Warren so he can fix it up and give it a SPA treatment so it will look like new again.

@TheEarthBelow Ummm...I haven't sharpened it. But the retention is very good. I just cut a 1/4 inch thick plastic tube and I see no deformation of any type. Usually with a s30v, you can see slight deformations. Should be relatively easy to sharpen because you just have to sharpen one side.

wow a tactical knife that looks oh so good. warren thomas knows his stuff. especially with that titanium. i like how the carbide makes like a hamon effect. youi carry a soulful katana in your pocket when toting this knife around. i love the massive standoff and pivots. and the ceramic ball is a sweet touch like a fancy pen. i like his finish better than just bead blasted titanium. looks way better. that grind the recurve part is perfectly done.

Holy crap! Look at that blade! It looks like a crazy design straight out of the Final Fantasy games lol. This is a work of art. I hope you have you blades nicely displayed somewhere inside a locked case or something. I really like the decorative edge designs on the flat side. Reminiscent of Chinese designs. Just beautiful, thanks for sharing!
