Great band except Bentley's views on America are more wrong than right . He can dislike the government * I personally think they fuck up more than help * but to imply America is a shit place to live is just ignorant . It has its problems yes but by and large it is a fine place to live .

America does have it's problems. One of them is the growing inequities between the rich and the poor, not to mention a languishing middle class. However, what takes the cake is American exceptionalism that pervades the minds of many. That it is God's will and our destiny to make the world our doormat. It is that self-importantly myopic perception exhibited by this nation that has exsisted in one shape or form for 400 years that is flat out WRONG.

Rancid has the better albums and BR the better (best ever) live show.

I have to agree with Fat Mike about Bad Religion being #1 (in my opinion), but I don't think Rancid is better than NOFX, and I don't really think Rancid and NOFX would be up that high. But don't get me wrong, I love those bands, I just think there are better punk bands, and it's just an opinion. No one can definitively say the best band, just the best band in their opinion, for everyone's taste in music differs in some way.
