i have always never had a religion and i am so confused but I found that hinduism is a religion that includes my beliefs, and since krishna is a part of hinduism i was looking into it but i want to know what is the krishna outlook on women? because if i'm going to accept a religion I want something that will accept me. But it's weird because i accept most christianity stuff as history and i still celebrate christmas and easter but only because it's history, and also because i like giving gifts.
quite positive...they are equal in the eyes of God(Krishna) same as men...we are spirit souls and the body is only a temporary garment whether male or female...that's why it doesn't matter what sex, age, nationality, etc...these are distinctions given by people and it's not a natural thing...Krishna consciousness focuses mainly on the Devotion to God, chanting, feasting, dancing, etc...is the greatest thing you can do foryourself to reestablish that relationship with God (Krishna) again...
Yes we are all souls. If anything, women are more honoured because all souls are female (prakriti) in relation to Krsna (purusa). And Sri Radha, Krsna's consort, is honoured more than Krsna Himself. If you encounter any sexist behavior is is only due to conditioned souls misinterpreting the religion for their own benefit so just ignore it.
@minupuppy you can accept hinduism its a very open and accepting religion besides unlike Jesus Krishna will never tell you "pray only me otherwise you will goto hell" Krishna allows you to pray to Jesus and whoever you want. Hinduism wont send you to hell for divorce, homosexuality, eating meat on friday, praying to other gods and so on.

it's a course, he stays there in like a dorm room i guess, with others, but has to help out with chores and take classes. he's not free to come an go as he pleases really so not really like a hotel.
its basicly living quarters at the temple, they live there for free eat there for free and whatever else, bu thye have to do certain services in order to earn their keep such ass cooking, destributing books, and working the gift shoppe, all ahre krsna temples have these hings,lol

hare krishna is pretty scary if you ask me. All of their chants sound like brainwashing material. (All repetitive and monotone) I would never move into a temple like that.
I do know a little bit about hare krishna. I live near a hare krishna house and I went to a hare krishna festival, but it scared me. All the people moved and talked as if they were dead. I don't mean to be hateful, but it's what I experienced.

I don't know much about Hare Krishna, but it seems to me that all of the questions you had just posed (why is there a blue sky, how are the planets sustained in the air) can be answered fully by science. I'm not being disrespectful to you or your beliefs, but I personally believe that theology cannot accurately and fully answer those questions.

I really do support and respect your spiritual journey but you have incurred all kinds of bad karma by bailing on Bryony's movie to go on retreat.

I don't know much about Hare Krishna, but it seems to me that all of the questions you had just posed (why is there a blue sky, how are the planets sustained in the air) can be answered fully by science. I'm not being disrespectful to you or your beliefs, but I personally believe that theology cannot accurately and fully answer those questions.
