  • hi, what software do you use to create these videos?

  • I guess you give out that book for free then, since money meens nothing.

  • Did anyone ever stop to think that some of Jesus teachings were crap? I mean, the call to "sell all your possessions and come follow me" was okay 2000 years ago because the possessions people had were nothing to get excited about. Also, it was a matter of practicality. If you are going to walk for miles around the country with him no can't be carry your junk. But nowadays we have cars, SUVs and vans! Duh! And if we all gave our stuff to the poor they'd be rich and we'd be poor! Donkey or walk?

  • @rosemaya48 How do you know that 2000 years from now someone won't say that the possessions you have today aren't worth at all then? If you are worried about what this pastor said and concerns you about materialistic things and you're a Christians, you have to re-consider what he meant.

  • what the fuck is this bullshit?

  • Atheists this days *sigh*

  • @CookedBeefChops

    its "Atheists these days"

maybe if you didnt believe in a FSM

    you could spell.

  • @IronXXXMaiden1 It's "atheist these days", maybe if you didn't believe in F.S.M you would be able to spell. ****GRAMMAR :) lol

  • Comment removed

  • Which part of the gospel? Who's gospel? Platt's gospel? His gospel is NOT the gospel. His gospel is a FALSE gospel.

  • @TheWholeTruthNow

    every gospel is false

  • @IronXXXMaiden1

    Including yours!

  • @TheWholeTruthNow

sorry bro i dont have a gospel.

  • @TheWholeTruthNow tell me - how is it false? No explanation made to give us a reason why... Or would you be happy to make piles of cash, own cars and homes and stuff that you will not be able to do anything with, simply because at the end of life, you will leave it all when you die. "Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,

And the spirit will return to God who gave it." Ecclesiastes 12:7

  • Why should I believe the Bible? Without quoting the Bible itself why should I unconditional believe a book without any proof. or to speak the same language in the video Why......... should ...... I .... believe.... the..... Bible???

  • Leheno, you are right , they are hypocrites, ...you and I are too, ….we are all hypocrites! But I would rather be one going to heaven with Christ than one going to hell.

  • do u think god wants yall arguing over a video..... quit living in denial love everyone as you love yourself... and do not argue about this stuff quit wasting breathe and start changing lives

  • - your heart when you hear what it has to say. I have a strong faith and pray that one day, you will come to CHRIST. By the way, this is coming from a 13 year old believer.

  • @iusevm Telling people what they should believe doesn't do anything. If you want to convince somebody of something, you have to be more convincing. You're not convincing.

  • @ninjajesus81 Oh, but I am.

  • @iusevm Convincing someone would include giving them reasons to believe what you're saying. You're not dong that. You just say one thing after another that could just as easily be invented in your head. There's no reason for anyone to believe any of that.

  • @ninjajesus81 all of the Holy Bible's information was recorded much before evolution, the big bang or other lies that teachers are now forced to teach children. I beleive in everything I hear or see from the Bible, and Church and when God talks to me.

  • @iusevm You're insane.

  • indecipherable.

  • Nothing in the Bible is optional I think. Everything God said has a purpose. :)

I wish I could give up everything but I'm not good before I finish college. And I'm pretty sure God wants me to finish my education :)

  • @BritneyAddicted4EVA If nothing in the Bible was optional then should we be killing millions of people for working on the Sabbath (Exodus 35:2) or how about we all stop eating shell fish because it is an abomination (Leviticus 11:10) or one of the dozen other stupid thing stated in the bible. God didn't say or write anything, humans did. There is no God and we are his prophets.

  • @jms450 Read the Bible before you condemn it. All that God said is important. Besides, He declared all food clean on multiple occasions so your argument is not only Biblical but it proves that you don't know what you are talking about. Same with Leviticus. We are under a new covenant, not old. Christians don't spread the Gospel by killing people but by loving them and pleading with them to turn their eyes to Jesus.

I hope He opens your eyes.

  • @jms450 God talked to these people through dreams, burning bushes, and his booming voice in the sky over his children. These people we call prophets take documentation about their spiritual life, or stories that they have witnessed or heard about. And you have to agree with the whole Bible or nothing at all. I'm not going to orce anybody into CHRISTianity, but only tell you this.If you really read this book you will feel convicted multiple times, every time you open it up. God will be pulling on

  • I'm praying for you man. I know that means nothing to you, and I know you will probably respond with some witty Bible-slamming stuff. I wont argue theologically with you. It is a waste of time.

  • @Leheno To quote the great Daniel Dennett, "Thanks. Did you also sacrifice a goat?"

  • Powerful video. One of my all time favorites.

    God Bless!

I'll be sharing it on my blog.

  • Why do grown people need to cling to a fairy tale to do good? Why can't people do good because they're good people, and not because they need to be threatened like children?

  • @eorldian why can't people just let people be in their religion and be okay with the fact that someone believes something different from them> How can someone call something a fairy tale when they can't even prove without a shadow of a doubt that their 'belief' 'belief in not believing' is correct. Tell me what you believe then prove it.

  • @EMT2832 "why can't people just let people be in their religion and be okay with the fact that someone believes something different from them" We could....if you guys had reciprocated at first. But remember when religion was in charge? We called it the DARK AGES. People were BURNED for a) not believing in fairytales b) not giving money to the fairytale tellers c) reading those fairytales in anything but Latin.

We tried the courtesy thing. The leaving alone thing. Then 9/11 happened.

  • @Enginmaster and you mentioned nothing again about Hitler who was great until he got into Darwinism even the Discovery Channel finds the link. You forgot to mention anthrax and nuclear weapons and cancer which even (most scientists agree it is a newer phenomenon and most likely man-made) yeh... you forgot all the bad science has done too.

  • @EMT2832 Darwin didn't get into darwinism, sorry. He accepted the Answers in Genesis explanation of a "perfect" initial race, and "degradation" or "devolution" as you put it. That's why he had to "save" the Aryans, from the more degraded races. That's fully in line with his Catholic beliefs, and your creationist beliefs. Anthrax isn't man-made, dude. It existed before. Very old disease. Science doesn't purport to be a moral authority. Religion DOES. Humanism has done no bad.

  • @Enginmaster Secondly just because we don't believe in Mother Earth like you do doesn't believe that every1 believes the same thing. Christianity and Islam are two opposite religions. If it wasn't, Christianity wouldn't be banned in M. Eastern cultures. Yet again though you raise invalid, illogical points. Please give non opinionated and researched answers if you must answer. You grouping them together is like saying a CNA/RN/MD are the same b/c they all work in a hospital

  • @EMT2832 "Christianity and Islam are two opposite religions. " Then why do BOTH sentence gays to death in Africa? Why are BOTH denigrating women? Why do BOTH believe in Hell as a torture chamber, unlike ANY other religions? Why do both promote genocide? Christianity isn't banned in Muslim countries. Just apostasy. If you start out a muslim you're not allowed to change. Much the same as Christianity was at the same age. (the inquisition ring a bell?)

  • @Enginmaster I am a woman yet you say that it belittles me yet I willingly follow the Bible. Obviously you picked out one verse and ran with it. How can I argue all these points which you obviously picked out one verse.. you obviously haven't read the Bible. Give me one thing to debate at a time and I will because you are debating something you don't know. ALSO Just because there are similarities between my twin sister and I does not mean that we are the same person.

  • @EMT2832 Congratulations on being a woman, dude. But the bible says you're supposed to be silent in church, and the Southern Baptist conference agreed, along with the catholic church. Women are to be submissive the book says. Not to have opinions for themselves, but to let their man do all the thinking, because of what? The talking snake fiasco, yes. How stupid do they think we are? Do they really think we can believe in the talking snake, I ask you. You and sis are not opposites.

  • @EMT2832 I've read more of the bible than you have. Trust me. Remember the bible passage where a rape victim is forced to marry her rapist, for the low cost of 50 pieces of silver? Remember the part of the bible where god shows Moses his ass? Where god was stopped...by iron chariots? I think we know why we don't see miracles anymore. (we all are driving around in chariots of iron)

  • @EMT2832 Remember when Jesus basically called a woman a bitch because she wasn't the right race? When he taught people how to beat their slaves? When he tells you to hate your whole family, but to love your enemy? Remember when god was afraid of a mud brick structure...reaching to a literal heaven in the clouds? That's how much 'god' knew about architecture, atmospheric science, etc. Very little.

  • @Enginmaster Hey man, show a little respect.

  • @Leheno Respect is earned. Faith has not earned it. Especially not this faith. I'm showing due respect by quoting the bible as it is written. If you disagree with skytowers, iron chariots, Jesus calling a woman a dog, teaching the beating of slaves, etc. join the club. The bible's the number one reason people convert to atheism.

Don't you dare ask me to respect something that has no basis besides a bronze age mythology. If you do, you are on the side of the terrorists.

  • @Leheno

The Bible and other mythology have no place in our modern age and deserve no respect. Perhaps if every single person that "followed" this religion weren't raving hyppocrites, I would have less of a problem. Not saying this would make any mythology any more believeable, but at least it would make better people.

As of now it only spawns idiots, irrational belief and, worst of all, hatred.

    So much hatred.

  • @eorldian what gets me is that EVERY1 in this world has a conclusion of how this thing really works or doesn't work yet when you look at Plato's definition (the one used for over 2k years) of knowledge and Gettiers Problem with knowledge it's almost impossible for someone to say that they have knowledge of something. Interesting. What gets me even more is that someone read sites focused on their point of view ONLY & then make a judgment of that topic w/o ever researching it? Shameful.

  • @eorldian that's funny. I never felt threatened. It's your choice.

  • @Enginmaster I'd rather die clinging to my "fairy tale", than focused on the irrelevant thinking this fragmented life is all we are supposed to amount to. Only to find out you could have been living a life of bliss with Christ Jesus.

  • @Enginmaster Because he too created all these "discoveries" you speak of. Its clear we cannot understand the infinite knowledge He has for us, if so would then the world be falling in on itself as it is now? Or do these civilization discoveries save us from all that? Understanding God takes more than to just look at him as a equation or timeline, but a relationship so great with Christ that all other relationships you have in this life look like hate. Because that is how he feels about us.

  • @Enginmaster You continue your argument after your initial mocking statement...amazing. You know so much of Archaeology and discoveries and are so quick to find falsehood in the bible because of "discoveries" of earlier civilizations? Do you really think everything that God is was explained to us through the bible...he showed us how to live in a perfect example, Jesus Christ; more importantly how to find him, how to find his grace. These mere discoveries have no affect on his love for me and u.

  • @TheK2WorldWideWeapon Jesus explained the only way find his "grace" was through him. Pathetic. The only way to goodness is to join a middle eastern death cult? Really? We MUST believe this guy whose tale sounds exactly like a hodge podge of Heracles, Buddha, Mithras, Zoroaster, Horus, etc or we get tortured forever. How graceful of god, indeed. He shows the dainty touch of a psycho murderer on meth. At least according to your book. Thank goodness there's no evidence for it.

  • @Enginmaster there is evidence for the Bible but when someone tries to give it to you, you shun it. It's hard to hear the truth but if you are going to be so close-minded and opinionated on a subject that you dismiss all claims and not even research it, then just admit you are close-minded and opinionated and stop pretending to act like you have actually studied this subject. I mean seriously do yourself a favor.

  • @EMT2832 There's evidence for the Eddas too. Just not the parts about the creation myth nor the magical parts. Present your evidence, dude. Where's the evidence of a zombie named Jesus? That's a pretty big deal. I'm not closed minded. My mind merely needs to see SOME evidence before I actually BELIEVE something.

Seriously, you don't believe in Earth? What the heck do you think you're on right now? Do you think your house is suspended in space alone?

  • People arguing with each other over their imaginary friend are funny. What part of the gospel is optional? The part starting with a prophecy and ending with the zombies. What part of the bible is optional? I'd say .... the part where the day is created 2 days before the sun is, and the talking snake story, through....the part where people still ride horses and own slaves and the world all gets burnt at a battle in an abandoned Israeli town. That section between page 1 and the final page.

  • @Enginmaster Hmm rather to be the one arguing over my imaginary friend than to be the one arguing with ones arguing with their imaginary friend. Rather to be the one reading the imaginary fairy tales than to be the one reading through the stories of the imaginary fairy tales to prove it is an imaginary fairy tale (if we're crazy, what does that make you for joining in on the discussion?

P.S. Wikipedia Hittites/read Archaeological Discoveries and see how REAL the Bible is.

  • @EMT2832 So you'd rather be the guy performing the human sacrifice to the aztec sun-god than the archaeologist studying the culture? You enjoy delusion. Archaeology has discovered civilization thousands of years before your book says the world was created. Enough said.

  • @EMT2832 I mean, if the existence of a certain city is proof that the entire book is true to you, you must think Johnny Tremain wasn't historical fiction, but 100% true.

  • @Enginmaster there's more proof but instead of actually researching something you judge it without researching it.

  • @EMT2832 I and most atheists know much more of religion and history than most religious people. It's a well documented fact. " I'd rather die clinging to my "fairy tale", than focused on the irrelevant thinking this fragmented life is all we are supposed to amount to. " ROFL, that...says a lot. That is very good evidence why it's a bad idea to get roped into the gullibility cult known as "faith". It asks you to value death more than life, the imaginary over the real.

  • All of Gospel is optional - religion does not make a person good, though it does not necessarily make them evil either.

  • @tvpnbb I'd have to disagree. I do agree with Platt 100%. There are things within the Gospel that are NOT optional. Those things being optional (or being taught to be optional) has created American Christianity (and possibly the whole of Modern Christianity). Not Optional: 1st, Love God with Everything you are. 2nd, Love all People as yourself. 3rd, Follow Jesus leaving behind everything.

  • @definitiongrace Well, technically, using any part of the Gospel and basing it sufficiently on Christian traditions is Christian. I am not commenting on ethics, just terminology.

  • @tvpnbb Hmm I see your point. I believe that Platt (and myself) are committed to breaking down the those unbiblical and religious traditions. Such as the most deadly one of assuming that the Great Commission was optional. I would like to appologize for my previous response. It wasn't building up and disrespectful.

  • Dude, Jesus himself manipulated things. If he followed the old ways, he'd follow up "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" with himself picking up a stone, smashing the woman in the face, and letting the rest go on after him. Your faith does say he was without sin, right? Religions must claim they've always had the intimate knowledge of god's mind. But they also realize previous generations were stupid. So they have to ignore the fact they have changed their account of god.

  • @Enginmaster Why would Jesus be talking to Himself though? He was talking to the people who brought the girl in... *rolls eyes* Another person "claiming to know God's Word soooo well"... please... don't bring your disgruntled hatred to our peaceful video.

  • @HappyRoadCone Well it is not bad grammar to say "I am he who is without sin" Therefore "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" really could be visualized with him pointing his thumb back at himself. I am not hating your imaginary friend. Don't worry. But you cannot deny how much has changed in the stories, and therefore how impossible it is that one deity actually exists that is timeless and always knows what's right. He ordered genocide in the OT, enough said.

  • @Enginmaster I really believe people disadvantage themselves when they read the Bible with only their minds... you have, have, have to understand it with your heart, which, of course, can only happen if you have the Spirit and believe. Consider this notion: the Old Testament is a representation of our condemnation in the Law. That's why Jesus Christ came to start a new covenant with mankind. A relationship - not religion. Open your heart to understand God's Word. It's the only way, bud. :\

  • @HappyRoadCone "I really believe people disadvantage themselves when they read the Bible with only their minds" Indeed. That's why I involve other organs, like my eyes. Psychic guessing of what's in the bible is how people pretend it's anti-slavery or anti-rape, or says abortion is murder, when it's pretty clear that's not what the bible says at all. It IS a religion by any definition of that word. In fact Christianity is usually one of the examples dictionaries give.

  • @HappyRoadCone "it's the only way, bud" I've clearly demonstrated your religion is NOT the only way. I have a way too. It's much less silly, in my humble opinion. The old testament is the representation of how the bronze age tribe actually was back then. That's a pretty good reason not to use them as a source of inspiration or guidance. Since you don't really take it as a real guide anyway...you already realize it. The true morality is within any human (except the 1 in 100 sociopath)

  • @Enginmaster Lol.. again.. you're misunderstanding what you're reading hahaha... "it's the only way, bud" was regarding your ability/inability to understand the Bible, bud. What "it's the only way, bud" meant was the only way you can understand the Bible is with your heart. It's okay though, now I realize you're just incapable of understanding what you read. :)

  • @HappyRoadCone There's always many ways, 'bud'. I understand what I read plenty. It's how you become a PhD candidate. You are very good at wishthinking about what is clearly a poorly written compilation work of fiction. My heart is just fine pumping blood. I think it would be confused if I asked it to pump paper pulp.

Personally, I like evidence. Science accomplishes true and amazing feats every day. Our entire modern society owes itself to evidence based thinking. Prayers? they fail.

  • @Enginmaster Science really has accomplished true and amazing feats - medical miracles, technology, scientific understanding - but, personally, I believe science tells us "how it works" and religion tells us "why it works." Again, that's my personal opinion. I'm not knocking you or trying to cut your down, I was simply hoping to provoke you to reread the Bible from a heart view (not your blood pumping heart haha..). I apologize if I was pushy at all. :)

  • @HappyRoadCone Why is often a meaningless question. Why did a rock collide with another rock in space? If you think there's a deeper meaning to it, you're under a misapprehension. Every time I re-read it, I see something even less logical. Why, for instance...do so many Christians embrace the scapegoating of a purportedly magic demigod? What rational person could EVER think that by thanking someone for allowing their son to be murdered...WE no longer are responsible. It's horrible really.

  • @HappyRoadCone If you're really into finding why questions, meaningless as they often can be, though...I'd ask you to consider Buddhism. Joseph Campbell has put forth pretty compelling arguments for how it and other Eastern religions in seeking truth led to the rather botched story of genesis, etc And truly, as examples go, you can't find fewer atrocities committed in the name of a religion outside them. Jainism, for instance, if there ever were fundamentalists of it, would still be nothing bad.

  • if we are supposed to give everything up, aren't those who we give those things to also supposed to give everything up? where does it end.

  • @septemberkid1 That's not the point. Jesus was saying that for people who are swollen in the head 'cause they "have everything in life" to give up what they have to follow Jesus. You can't, can't, can't follow Jesus and be egotistical about the "things" you own. That's what he was saying.

  • Very true. Very challenging. I am thankful for people like David Platt, Francis Chan and Victor Cuccia who are willing to challenge the church when others simply keep going through the motions. If you haven't read Crazy Love (Chan) and Steeple Envy (Cuccia), do yourself a favor and check them out!

  • This video is harshly true.

  • Can I use this at my Church in our opening?

  • Comment removed

  • Surprised he doesn't touch the old testament as well as the gospel. I mean talk about cherrypicking.

But I'm convinced. I'll beat my slaves right, just like Jesus said. And to hate myself and my father and mother. But I'll kill anyone who curses their father and mother of course. But I won't judge...just kill. But I'll love my enemy. And then I'll slay Jesus' enemy. No more selective readings. No more accepting just one of Jesus' opposing views. I must accept BOTH at the same time!

  • As with any other fantasy , "Jesus" only is, says, does, and wants, what the "believer" or "proposer" wants him to be, say, do, or want.

.........This is how we know that everybody's "God" is a false one........

  • @Tobytrim Were you present when you clicked the play button? 0:32

Your "fantasy" opinions are just that....mere opinions, provide us with truth such as Jesus did, documented so clearly in the Bible. America has had too many opinions from people fixed on their own beliefs, mashing together "intellectual" thoughts and phrases to prove....absolutely nothing.

  • BOOM!

  • sadly so much accept christianity so changed

  • "Jesus said in Matthew 12:30, that if you are not with him, than you are against him"

Only a Sith deals in absolutes.

  • so is this against christianity or supporting it

  • @Galatians49

It's a reminder to those who believe in Christianity. Not really an argument for or against it.

  • @Galatians49 Great question. Sadly, our American culture doesn't do a good job of presenting the model of what it means to follow Jesus in the 21st century. So this is in a way going against what our current "Christianity" looks like.

  • Jesus said in Matthew 12:30, that if you are not with him, than you are against him, and he likens you to Satan who scatters, and by with him, he means on his: Doctrine, Requirements, Commandments, Holiness, what he revealed about himself, in his word, old/new testament. The next question that you need to ask yourself is how literal should we take that statement? Are we to treat his words as a light thing? Are we to only mentally agree, and not do? Nay, for you deceive your own self James 1:22.

  • WOW... Powerful!!!

  • @joeforHistruth You don't know what hell is, even if I tell you. The body that dies has sin in it, and do bad to the least of these Christs brethren thinking you do a good work, and your soul will become ashes in Gods light perceived as if it was fire, revelation, 20 7-9, KJV. Man can by Gods grace chose not to war, and save their soul. The government that bows to war is evil. No war in heaven, You should know that. The sword of God is Jesus, and Gods word that harms no man, not now, not ever.

  • joeforHistruth Can't you see the wide path humans have chosen that many have walked on? War of all kinds, and persecuting, jailing, killing in the death penalty feeling justified. Persecuting humans is a form of war. Peace is therefore the narrow road. Can't you see that history proves my words true? The poor in spirit are the persecuted .They think they are less, but they are great in God's eyes. A human that dies cannot make themselves better by saying another human is worse. Think about that.

  • Comment removed

  • WOW, Humans are seeking a vain thing amassing wealth thinking it will save them. There is a voice in the back of their heads saying what Satan said long ago thou shalt not surely die, and that motivates humans to gather wealth, and forget others being selfish. Selfish humans will not be in the new earth The American dream is all about the individual getting more. That is why Lucifer fell.

  • @MrLita91 Yes!

  • this vidio is increadably terrofiring are cristans going to take over the world? :O

  • Sweet jesus... This kind of fanaticism is quite worrying, but at least hes fanatical about very respectable ideals.

I have no issue with charitable people like yourselves, but there is in fact a plan B, its called science and it actually works! (which is not to say your plan A does not)

You also are quite offensive in your attacks on the nonreligious, we simply need to be convinced, we are perhaps overanalytical but we just have a hard time holding beliefs that cant be backed up.

  • @mehico33 If science is plan B we are doomed. A.....Christ is the only way. What part was fanaticism? That is the gospel. Do you beleive it?

  • @joeforHistruth To be honest science is the only plan, religion is tantamount to pissing in the wind and has done more harm than good. Science is behind almost every advancement of our species, it has increased our life spans and largely removed us from the fight for survival (natural selection), thanks to science we can now dedicate large percentages of our lives to leisure and other nonvital pursuits (religion, politics etc). You really should appreciate it. Im not a believer.

You really should appreciate it. Im not a believer.

  • @mehico33 I appreciate what good science has given us. But science is not something to put our hope and trust in. It's not a savior. Without Christ man has no hope in this life and the one to come. Though science is doing some great things, the world we live in is getting worse and worse, because of sin, man is a wretched sinner in desperate need of salvation which only comes through Christ. Christ and the gospel are the only hope.

  • @joeforHistruth You sound exactly like my mother, are you a Jehovas Witness?

The statement "the world we live in is getting worse" is baseless, we live longer than our ancestors did, we no longer (supposedly) allow torture, we no longer keep slaves, we no longer entertain ourselves watching men die in the arena, women now have almost equal rights to men, governments are now kept in check to a certain extent by the populas etc... and my mother doesnt see that either. Why do you believe?

  • @mehico33 No the Jehovas Witnesses are a cult, not Christians. Lets see there are just as many wars, we kill unborn babies, over 50 million in the U.S.(our own holocaust), pornography is out of control, government is not in check, we don't keep slaves, true, we make slaves, slaves to materialism, sex, porno, alcohol, drugs...slaves to sin. I believe because I have seen how wretched a sinner I am, I need a Savior, I need forgiveness. That only comes through the incarnate Son of God, Jesus Christ

  • @mehico33 No the Jehovas Witnesses are a cult, not Christians. I believe because I have seen how wretched a sinner I am, I need a Savior, I need forgiveness. That only comes through the incarnate Son of God, Jesus Christ

  • @joeforHistruth Lol yeah a cult, christians that actually follow the bible word for word = cult.

Pornography is out of control? That is called free information, what demonstrable harm does pornography cause?

"Just as many wars" yes, as many, not more. One thing ill concede is that they are now fought with more destructive weaponry however these usually act as deterant, its a clear direct result of technological advancement. And the drug issue maybe, but I think govt is using the wrong approach.

  • @joeforHistruth I do think you might have a case to make about the rejection of puritan values however it is understandable when you acknowledge the ever growing populas and increasing application of reason. For instance rules such as "you must not fornicate" can be safely ignored as it brings far more joy than sorrow, reason is corrosive to puritan ideas.

If something is not demonstrable it is deemed safe to ignore, by implication

  • @mehico33 It's the word of God, not puritan values. Fornication is a sin.

  • @joeforHistruth Smells like a cop out. What exactly is a sin? (the definition I had been using was: a crime, or something with negative effects. Clearly my definition is flawed)

  • @mehico33 Sin is missing the mark, God expects perfection, we miss the mark of perfection. Sin is also transgression of Gods law. A look at the ten commandments is enough to prove to anyone they are a guilty sinner.

  • @joeforHistruth Have Jesus in you, and be perfect in spirit, and then be like Jesus is. Have humans be like Jesus is, and war, and persecution of whoever will end. Their life in this corruptible body will not mean what it does to a warmonger, and will not kill another trying to protect it for they know a murderer will not inherit the new earth.

  • @kobidobidog How does one have Jesus in them? Who is Jesus?

  • @joeforHistruth BY not rejecting Jesus. Whoever will resist the impulse of the devil to do harm allowing Jesus in, pushing the devil out who gives fire persecuting doing bad to humans. The one with Jesus will be like Jesus. Like a little child, and hope, endure, believe, bear all things be kind, not boastful or high minded, patient, not rude or unseemly, will love all, not easily provoked, think no evil, rejoice in the truth, will be wise, harmless, peacemakers, meek, forgiving, giving, truthful.

  • @joeforHistruth Jesus is God without his glory so God could walk among men so men can have no doubt about the real character of God who is Emanuel God with us, the I AM before Abraham was, and the Lord God that even doubting Thomas exclaimed when he put his hands in the nail prints, and spear wound in his side. God had to come in the form that he did else the judgment of the living, and the dead would have instantly taken place. That would not be good. Therefore God had to come the way he did..

  • @joeforHistruth Whoever has the good fruits of Jesus has Jesus in them to keep their soul safe when Gods light shines when he comes back. I would like to see all being godly not persecuting anyone to make whoever happy, and Jesus happy when he comes back to have not just a remnant to save, but a large number of humans to save.

  • @kobidobidog So those who have Jesus in them are Christians I'm assuming, though you didn't say it. Those who have repented of their sin and by faith trust in Christ alone for their salvation.

Jesus said many are called but few are chosen. He also said that narrow is the road that leads to life and few that be that find it, but the road is broad that leads to destruction and there are many on it!

  • @joeforHistruth That narrow road is peace, and devils dispise peace, and devils in men have despised it not giving Peace to the Pedo, and zoosexual, and clothing optional humans to making them feel bad when they are as nude as a bird wherever.

  • @kobidobidog I'm not sure what your talking about, but it's not from the bible-Gods Word.

  • @kobidobidog The narrow road is following Christ, the broad road is a belief that you can make it to heaven any way you like, usually some works based religion, but it includes any beliefs or religions. Christ is the only way, the narrow road. What you are saying is not from the bible. Not correct.

  • @joeforHistruth Christ is the prince of peace. You should know that, but what has the zoosexual, and gay,and Pedo gotten? No peace. That means the devil has been against them in the guise of righteousness.

  • @kobidobidog Yeah I see the wide path, it's the road that says this way to heaven but really is going to hell. Christ is the narrow road. Man is sinful, there will always be war until Christ returns. The government is an instituituion set uo by God, it doesnt bear the sword in vain, that means the death penalty is to punish evil.

  • @joeforHistruth Gods pure light is the one that punishes those that do bad,and not us.

  • @joeforHistruth Do you not know heaven has to be in you? Know that killing, and persecuting, and all bad things will not be in heaven, and why do humans hold onto things within them that are not heavenly? persecuting the zoo, and Pedo is therefore not a heavenly thing to do, agreed? Christ in us is heaven, and is the narrow road. All that die have the deatrh penalty in their body.kill another or even want to, not being like Jesus is, and the soul will die with the body. No one takes Gods place

  • @joeforHistruth Isaiah 65 1I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name. The zoosexuals, and Pedo did not ask or seek for God, but the character of Christ is seen in them, and not the condemning human after them. Christ never went after anyone. He drew whoever to him with his love beyond understanding. For you to go after the zoosexual, and Pedo means you cannot have Jesus in you.

  • @kobidobidog God draws people to Christ as His word says. Salvation is through Christ alone, by repentance of sin and faith in Christ, the Son of God. What you are saying is not correct.

  • @joeforHistruth The ones persecuting whoever are the ones needing to repent in dust, and ashes dressed in sackcloth,or they will become Ashes in Gods light when it shines. Do you hear me?

  • @joeforHistruth Jesus is God, and the Jews wanted to push him over a cliff, and stone him for saying he, and the father are one. Jesus is the Lord God, and the I AM.. Condemn yourself not believing my words.

  • @kobidobidog I know Jesus is God and Lord. The other stuff you are saying is incoherent, its not biblical.

  • @mehico33 have you heard of the illuminati? thats satans base. they do some fucked up stuff. they are satanists/ freemasons most of any other cult. they are secretly taking the liberties of people and promoting immoral things abortion, homosexuals, alcohol, taobacco, prescription drugs that kill alot of people etc. soon they will have a new world order and they want as many as possible to worship the anti christ thats the reality man

  • @oscarmarin1995 "thats the reality man" Is a confident statement, so ill assume you have evidence to share. Will you enlighten me?

I admit I have always laughed at NWO conspiracy theorists

  • @mehico33 well first there symbols are everywhere... in music, businesses, government, money, etc. and they fake "war on terror". were they send out troops into another country for no good reason. for finding al quida? al quida doesnt exist that was a group of people that were fighting russians when they were trying to take control. also why would we go into another country when we cant eeven support each other in this economy? it shouldnt be how it is today. more and more people r becoming poor

  • @mehico33 the poorest this nation has ever been. our own money is fraudulent. its not backed with gold, therefore loses value. the zionist/satanists control the federal reserve, israel, God knows what else! on 911 3000 jews arent at work. Can you explain that? they knew something was going to happen. and then the planes crashed. the "terrorists" that crashed them were trained by the cia and told them how to takeover the planes. and after the planes hit there were aexplosions in the buildings,

  • @mehico33 a plane didnt even hit tower 7 and it fell, can you explain that? and the towers fell perfectly straight down it couldnt just be the planes. also haarp generated MANY earthquakes around the japan area. it eventually caused the big tsunami. do you know who controlled the nuclear plants security? israelis aka zionists. they said all was fine. that was not true readiation was spreading. theres so many other things thats wrong with this world im sure haarp caused alot of other disasters

  • @mehico33 obama and the government dont give a shit about the people. all they care about is the agenda. research that stuff and dont be ignorant wake up. just research the stuff and youll know theres so many lies and cover ups.

  • @mehico33 that is why i believe the bible is truee and good. no cover ups and it gives good advice on living right and is the word of God, it tells us all he did for us and how people struggle with sin its a great thing
