I'm getting this game soon, is there an in-game recorder? If so, what button and does it record sound? Nice coaster, love how unique it is and the close zero g roll things.
Cool, and the music is quite fitting with the theme of the coaster, but the ride seems too intense at the beginning, and not intense enough at the the end :L still great though.
On a side note though, I have to disagree with your opinions on newton2, I have learned from experience that making quality rides in newton, is just as, or even IMO much harder than handbuilding.
I love doing both, but I don't count newton as a tool because it is much more powerful and requires just as much effort as handbuilding.
@97VideoFreak I just take time to make sure everything goes together. perfectly. its ver tedious work. and all of my coasters are 100% hand made. no tools. so just try messing with the verticies and such. you'll get it.
@loreizzle395 I totally agree. if tools are used to make coasters, its not really a self accomplishment. its like saying, oh yea, i moved this 1 ton piece of steel by myself, but i used a construction crane. so you did it, but so could anyone else.
@shootoutsabre61 I would agree if it wasn't for Newton being a fairly complicated program itself to run. It takes some skill to operate even that. You'd still have to know what you are doing when it comes to coaster design. Besides, it's still possible for the user to create an innovative layout, regardless if it's tooled by Newton or not. So, I really don't see anything wrong with the program tbh.

For some reason, the overhead shots reminded me of the original RCT. I think it is the texture of the snow.

@aceospades1250 i'd also like to see more drastic vertical changes to help that pacing, especially with inversions.

@shootoutsabre61 same here man, in my opinion, there should be a small little movement against newton... which is pretty much one big tool.

@97VideoFreak orrr you could go ctrl+g while you have segments selected and smooth em out :D
marcussatu 1 year ago
@marcussatu
ctrl+g does NOT automatically smooth a ride. You must still tweak vertices if you want a smooth handbuilt ride.
