  • I think it was a 300 mag and the shot if I remember right was 400 yards.

  • what kind of rifle was that? and how far was the shot? it looked like a pretty good distance

  • No blaze orange required?

  • @luxfair no

  • @hunter0055

Which state is that? I'm moving. :-)

  • Bagged my 1st bull moose Nov 09. Slightly smaller rack than your guy but about the same size body.

I was luckier'n you though, shot mine at about 220 yards in a canola field that still had swaths laying in it (guess what he was eating...lol) and we were able to drive right up to him to load.

You need a winch and several thousand feet of rope. That's what we carry for the 'unlucky' occasions. We could have pulled your bull out whole with my partner's F250 "Big Red" hunting truck's winch.

  • @CptnBlues Congrats on the bull!! Yea we usually carry a chain saw winch and it works great for moose but for some reason we didn't bring it. I guess we must have felt like doing it the hard way!

  • Great video, thanks my son got a nice moose this year, got a video but havn't put it up yet, will soon

  • I enjoyed this hunt very much. A lot better then many shows I paid money to see. I drew one year here in Alberta & my wife another. We both went skunked. I find it hard to get time out anymore with work commitments 24/7.

  • Thanks! yea just cause you get drawn doesn't mean you will get one that's for sure. My girlfriend had a draw the year before and we got skunked.

  • Good lookin slash..them ;bulls sure like this type of country....

    Great bull

    Congrates!!!

    Cheers

  • Les Stroud??

  • Thats awsome ! those Bulls can take a bullet like a champ

  • Nice bull !!! cool video did you say ya got a 7 point bull on that trip to? lots of fun packing them out !

  • Thanks, he was talking about a bull I got a few years earlier when I was drawn for a moose tag.

  • got to get a 4x4 quad with bigger tires to get quad all the way

  • Half the fun is getting them out can't make it too easy.

  • when we get a moose even if its in a swamp or on top of a big ridge we get are quad to it

  • its hunting its aloud hehe

  • no swearing oh thats epic hahah

  • did it tooked you a while to get to it?

  • It took about 25 minutes to get up to it

  • Nice video there! Great hunt & a very nice Bull! Congrats! 5*s

  • Awesome video. What do you use for bar oil in the chainsaw for meat?
