  • yeah let's cheer on the president giving orders to people involved in private matters! YAY! sounds wonderful. facism/socialism/whatever is well on it's way!! YAY!!! i suppose some of these banks are owned by the government, which is even better!!! W00T!! CHEER ON OBAMA!!! FUCK FREEDOM!! FUCK FREE MARKETS!!!

  • @gangien ,I want to see this community organiz3er fail so badly,it's killin' me.

  • Good old Obama, he knows these banking shits are nothing more than gangsters in suits, robbing the decent hard working American citizens.

  • if thats true, why does he have people who worked for goldman sachs now work for him?

  • I think Obama has a real shot of showing himself to be a great President, a leader in a time of true change for the better. However, more Democrats supported the bailouts than Republicans at first. A few Republicans stood up for what OUGHT to be their beliefs... no big government, no big handouts... but were persuaded in the end with pork to support the bailouts. Now Obama makes some noise. Threatens a tax on the bankers. Okay. Better than nothing.

  • The bankers traded securities using these risky mortgage loans. Those trading the most of these securities went under. Okay. So a bunch of risks and failures. I get this. I actually blame the people and businesses less than the government. Bunch of fat cat, rich representatitves step in and bail out the richest of them. Those at the top of the chain who understood the risks and were screwing people over. Why? Because these fat cats, Republicans and Democrats, saw their investments slide.

  • Sure, people borrowed and if they were smart, knew that these loans would have interest rates that increased to an uncomfortable level. The mortgage lenders, though, said oh... just pay back more of the mortgage at low rates. They also put a lot of information in asteriks and tiny print. Not everybody's all that bright. And some knew and took the risks. The point is these were risky loans. They collectively collapsed in mid-2007, right on the tip of a bubble.

  • Lets put banker bonuses into real perspective.

The US economy grew at a $89b annualized rate in Q2. That was the first growth since Q2 2008 and came to $22b in actual growth in Q3. The bankers, after causing the greatest economic calamity since the Great Depression, are rewarded with $140b, thats x6 the growth accomplished so far in the much heralded economic recovery.

Meanwhile, 7m families face foreclosure and 25m Americans cant find full time work.

  • @Silberdachs

Which was the problem with the bailout, IMO; it awarded bad decisions, some of which were encouraged by well-intentioned social initiatives mandated by the government.

Both the elected members of government, especially incumbents, and wall street, particularly those who have significant influence in politics, were complicit in the economic disaster.

"You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours."

More than ever, you can't trust politicians, no matter the party, and banksters.

  • nice propaganda piece (of shit)...we are supposed to believe that obama is telling the banksters what to do? lol! try the other way around...obama is the champion lap dog of the banksters!

  • what did cenk major as a undergad?

  • This kind of stuff should make the right happy Especially ppl like Alex jones who preaches that the banks own everything and basically run the country (I happen 2 agree).

I mean if the banks have control do you think we are in the best interest of the banks? What we should hope for is that we are in the best interest of Obama and if this is true then him telling the banks to back off is a good thing. Him saying listen you won't have all the powere, I'm the president and I want wats good for USA

  • Without funding for people to buy homes, cars, etc, how will the economy get any better?

  • People EARN their funding through work.

But, of course many people are barely making ends meet, so they are saving. People think a government stimulus is the answer. NOT SO FAST!

The money to pay for the stimulus comes from tax revenue and many people can't afford the taxes to pay for it. So, the government borrows and/or prints more money. Except, you have to pay the debt back PLUS interest. And, printing more dollars can devalue the currency once those dollars are in circulation from loans.

  • In an effort to prop up economic gain in a time where it's gravitating towards recession, you're only delaying the inevitable while also adding more problems that will hurt when it comes time to where you simply can't do anything more to prop it up; it will have to fall sooner or later.

The best solution: take the medicine and just get it over with. You can't delay the fall forever, so just let it happen and deal with what comes up. Once that's clear, start booming.

    It worked for South Korea.

  • It all boils down to the fact that too many people borrowed and most of them can't pay it back.

You can't tip toe around that.

It reminds me of "Pleasure Island" from Pinocchio.

"You boys have had your fun. Now pay for it!"

  • "You boys have had your fun. Now pay for it!"

if your just ignorant beyond beleif, normal humans as they grow up we learn as we grow, unlike you, who's ancestors decided to work with the devil for wealth, and you ingrate who throughout life never got to experience the joy of working hard for something and accomplishing your goal, and valuing what you have, instead you have a bank account and can always get what you want, you think your special. but guess what. no one will ever love you for you

  • @amrairst

Blah, blah, blah ... and in poorly written English to boot.

This is not about working for wealth, but working to EARN a living and being WISE ABOUT IT in the process.

Rarely anything in life is given to you and nothing, I say again, NOTHING is given completely for free; somebody had to pay for it in one form or another.

Either that, or that freebie is given to you under conditions that, if you don't take the time to understand, can come back to kick you in the groin.

  • No they are not but Obama is currently the better alternative.

  • there left of left

  • lol

  • Oh yeah, he's really laying down the law. He's requesting 500 billion from congress for IMF, you fucking cocksucker.

Fucking propaganda piece of shit. He is doing NOTHING, he is more of the same.

  • It doesn't matter anyways because this administration is going to get credit for any good that comes from this crisis even if it happens 10 years after his term.

  • How can you refuse to accept payment for money you gave someone? This is completely unfair.

  • Obama probably knows what the companies would do if they gave the money back.

TV Commerscial(Female Voice)- Get your loans from us. We gave your money back.

Also these companies are trying to end this as soon as possible. We cant let them half ass it.

  • Don't we want liquidation as soon as possible?

  • Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama traitors... to the US Constitution and the people. The FEDERAL RESERVE is the largest bank in the US. The cannot by audited by anyone. Think about it... they are killing off the competition. END the FED. We are enslaved by debt.

  • Yeah, we really really have to end the Fed. Back to the time in the 1800s when it was gotten rid of in the first place.

  • I think Obama's just another uninformed guy trying to help. With 2 wars already going on, the FED bankers don't need a corrupt president right now to rake in the cash. Bush already set us up to fall.

BTW The international bankers, with the help of corrupt officials orchestrated the United State's involvement in world wars I and II. They directly caused The Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan wars. It was all done so the American Government would borrow money from them.

  • In a way I feel sorry for him... if he returns to the Constitution then it would be much better. He would then become the people president. I do think he is a marxist. In the end those that are idealistic socialists/communists and freemen end up dead when a tyrant takes charge. Have you ever noticed how the hair on the president turns white as soon as they get into office?

This is Bob. Soon bob will take over youtube! spread this to 50 videos. It will soon be on the news. then you will know you helped spread Bob

  • They offered our money back and Obama told them that they couldnt give it back!

What the hell is he trying to do?

I thought thats what we wanted so that we can leave them alone and let them make decisions to get out of it or fail.

That way Obama comes out of this saying that he tried to help and the banks said that they have it on their own.

Now if this doesnt clear up in a few years he is going to be the bad guy. I think he is wrong on this one.

  • Cenk, I having a serious hard time believing this.

  • lol...Obama sounds like a badass :)

  • Gensler nominated by Obama to head the Commodities Futures Trading Commision, spent 17 years working for Goldman Sachs, and then was in Clintons Treasury Dept. as they deregulated derivatives in the mid 90s, mostly by handcuffing the aforementioned CFTC, and then took apart the Glass Steagal act while they were at it. How much evidence do you need that Obama is the banker's boy? Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Like the Clintons, Obama says what he wants, regardless of whether true.

  • Obama said he would keep lobbyists out of his administration. In hours of being elected, filled white house with lobbyists and donors. William Lyn Ratheon-#2Dept. of Defence. Tim Geitner Pres of NY Federal Reserve-Treasury Sec. Geitner then jammed the dept full of his lobbyists ie. Chief of Staff Mark Patterson lobbyist from Goldman Sachs, George Mitchell lobbyist for Saudi Royal Family-lead middle eastern envoy, Wall St. lobbyist Leon Pennetta-Head of CIA

  • Hm, I don't know about that co-host. He seems nice enough, and smart enough, but I don't believe he has the natural talent and charisma it takes to be an anchor. Most, if not all of his jokes flop, and a lot of his commentary is useless. I hate to be so critical when I have no broadcast experience, but that's just how I feel.

  • Obama is a paid agent for the worlds central bankers. He was groomed and financed by them and their wealthy clients. Obama profits from implementing the NWO, oligarchical world Marxism.

  • Stfu you dumb ass conspiracy peice of crap.

    Welcome to the REAL world.

  • You are brainwashed and supporting dictatorship. You are also a traitor to your country.

  • LOL - I love statements with no basis, your right all knowing seer of the world.

You have it ALL figured out, the "new world order" the "Illuminati" go on , keep your paranoid delusions coming - its very entertaining to see people descend into a spiral of paranoia.

  • We no longer have time to teach kindergarten. You obviously suck up propaganda and that is your choice and, to this point, your right. Have a nice delusional life. and....good luck to you and those you love.

  • The "I know you are but what am i" argument is for children, such as yourself.

Make your own point bitch stop taking others and trying to turn the car around.

Now impress me - although it will be hard since intellectual honesty is obviously a problem for you.

  • WOW this guy is sooo hard core ganster. It really takes a coward to call some body a bitch on a comment board. Its like the guy that is a bad ass on the phone and then buys you a drink when you catch him at the bar. Obama is doing a stand up job, these bankers have proven that they cannot be trusted to do the right thing without comprehensive regulations. The republicans have proven that voodoo economics sucks for 99% of us. Now is the time for real change embrace it or get left behind.

  • Uh hey fuckface - did you even read what the hell was going on?

I was arguing against a deluded conspiracy theorist, if you not even gonna READ then dont bother replying.

Btw - your whole paragraph while i agree, has NOTHING to do with the stupidity of this cockmonger thinking Obama is controlled and owned by some NWO/Illuminati/Ghosts/Aliens/Repitilians or any other fucking nonsense.

  • I agree with you that the illuminati is just ridiculous, and anyone who believes in them is suffering from emotional problems. The NWO does not exist either, BUT it could very possibly happen, but not in the conditions right now (we would need a terrible attack on america for it to happen, like a nuke, and all the other major countries in the UN too). What we do need to worry about, and is as real as the sky, is the federal reserve, who inflate our dollar and print counterfeit money.

  • THat i can agree with - its plausible but if you got second hand coincidental evidence it means nothing.

I mean the National Socialist party slowly took power as all the poor and downtrodden apathetic people let them.

    The Federal Reserve is ridiculous.

  • You know what else is ridiculous? The electoral college. Unrelated for the most part, I know, but when we go to other countries and help them set up democracies, we advise them to leave out the electoral college. Hmmm.

  • Yeah it is very unnecessary.

  • Rights aren't protected in a democracy. We live in a republic, that's why we have an electoral college.

  • You are just too dumb to be posting on this channel. Please leave.

  • Theres that "power" thing again. You are a prime candidate for Obamas goon squad. You'll fit right in. Who died and made YOU hall monitor !?

You are a fascist supporter and a traitor to the U.S. Constitutional Republic. (I bet you already knew that, didn't you !?)

  • I am glad that you do agree with my point and saddened that you still feel the need to name call. People like you are the reason I have broken so many fingers in my life. BTW its probably about your bedtime now, you don't want to miss the short bus in the morning. Goodnight coward sweet dreams little one.

  • I eat bankers for breakfast.

  • Obama is a badass lol

  • obama is a pussy. if he is such a hardass, why doesnt he talk about the money he got from goldman sachs and the people who worked for them that are now working for him?

  • @hint0122 ummmm because it never happened. he had millions of money from donations so getting money from one business doesn't comply

  • yes it did. they gave money to the DNC. will they be giving it back?

  • @hint0122 um agian no....

  • Well it has some connection to the subject of this video. If you're creative, you can figure it out.

Valedictorian? of a high school? I am working on my doctorate in mathematics. I know what purpose grades serve, so why would I have much respect for grades within a flawed educational system? Maybe you deserve a medal in indoctrination. It is not my concern.

I wasn't aware you had much of a point besides making assumptions about people you don't know. Your attack simply irritated me.

  • to nly8nchz-thanks for some practical usefull information, i will be looking into

HR1207, Federal Reserve Transparency Act. i like obama and tyt but this story didnt carry a lot of weight.

  • Obama gave billions of dollars to banks. TYT are on crack. He's bailing out their buddies like Bush, CLinton etc.

  • I gotta read more about this, it sounds good.

  • you guys love seeing Obama act like a dictator. ick

  • yes better than bush

  • What a stupid doctor reference.

"No no, you really need to keep the peoples money. Churn and burn it all, there's more once you're done with the first batch."

The government is telling the banks that they can't give the peoples money back?

    Brilliant.

Zombie polititions overseeing zombie instutions is all that will emerge.

  • THUMBS UP +1

  • It's about damn time.

  • Enthusiasms.... enthusiasms.

    Hilarious.

  • Ben is annoying...

  • thank you!.. YES HE IS!!

  • Cenk ,I love you my man..your funny, you come across as a smart guy who has a firm grasp on current events. However, you seem quite biased towards Obama no matter what he says..I would think someone like you would be smart enough to realize that Obama is a demagogue, plain and simple. You may think its funny but us "conspiracy theorists" have been right and now even(the propaganda machine) fox news will admit that a new world order is coming to fruition like we said would happen after 9/11.

  • I've missed bensday!

  • the guy on the right is an annoying douche. He provided no real input, and his attempts at humour were a waste of ime.

I felt a little embarassed for him. Get rid of him.

  • i second that

  • Haha yeah, whenever he comes on the show you can't help but think; What is he doing there?

  • Chase??? WHAT?? I have only one credit card: a chase credit card. Is that bad?

  • did you even watch the video? lol

  • I just read a disturbing Washington Post article completely at odds with this and many other stories about the President's dealings with Wall St. that he and his admin were trying to find loopholes so that firm CEOs can get around the executive compensation restrictions. At one point wasn't President Obama championing restrctions? I'm so confused. I hope you guys cover it.

  • Heh - I've always laughed at people who thought President Obama would be too weak for the job. If your name is Barack, and you're a mixed-race kid growing up in the sixties, you're not going to be weak. We're beginning to see that he's always diplomatic first, but he's more than capable of pulling out an industrial-size can of HNIC.

  • That was hot.

  • who is this guy next to Cenk...it seemed like he kept on cutting him off...wtf

  • "A man become preminent he is expected to have enthusiams... enthusiams... enthusiams." Nice Untouchables reference guys. Sweet.

  • Lol..i luv Cenk's expression when he says.."Oh, oh that's good!!!"

  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING of Obama! It seems like we have someone that ACTUALLY represents us in the white house. Awesome.

  • Thats what i was thinking man (or woman) not like Bush, "Good try gentleman...we can just try harder." Haha Obama is being the MAN!!!!!!!!!

  • no refills lol

  • It seems like Obama is not in the pockets of the corporatians, which is an important requirement to make good decisions.

Let's hope he continues down this path.

  • exactly.

  • I believe that Pres. Obama should appoint Elliot Spitzer the police of Wall Street.

  • Obama cracks down on the bankers.......lol............Let's just set back and watch before we make assumptions people. Hollywood might have more money now than wall street so Obama might not be concerned about his re-election quite yet.

  • You all need to relax and stop drinking the ignorant juice for a minute because not one single person is talking about facts. All thats below is nonsense based off of ignorance. Its ok though, not like anybody who wrote previous bashing posts can step up and make change. They'd rather sit back and complain via text message on how they know very little about a situation that's bigger than them.

  • And when can we expect The Bama laying "down the law" with FNMA and Freddie? After all, they paid millions in bonus's to their employees. Right......................................................NEVER. Why? Wanna guess who got the most money from FNMA? Yep.........your boy, (not a racial remark)........ Obama. You don't spank the hand that feeds you. The Bama gets big bucks from FNMA, (plus their employees for his administration), for turning the other cheek. "Real change you can believe in".
  • Obama = another professional DC liar.

  • You know, Obama isn't from DC, nor any of these other politicians. The district and state you live in SENT someone to DC, so blame yourself and your community if you aren't happy with the way things are in DC.

  • we are presented every election with a choice of about 8 shitty canidates, the established ppl in the gov choose who runs from their parties, we just pick the best orut of the shitty choices given. We do not TRUELY elect our president, only pick the less of the evils.

  • Make you own party then...

    That's how democracy works.

Qlthough I agree that the American "the winner takes it all" model isn't ideal.

  • then who the hell do you suggest lead this country if not someone like Obama?

  • Obama was by far the best canidate and he has a lot to do as president and seems to be trying to get a lot done with what he can work with. Now, with that said, I don't know who other then Obama, thats the problem. I think someone who is well educated, knows how the gov. works, and has no ties to the main parties or the rest of the politicians anyway. A regular person with a college education to do the job, not someone who worked his way up in positions given to them by other politicians.

  • That is stupid, you think some college education(regardless of the subject) qualifies someone to be president? Ill be the first to say I do not want some average American idiot running the nation. are you aware of the average Americans comprehension levels, or IQ's? I am kind of baffled by your statement.

  • I think average people are what we need in gov't. After all, the gov't is SUPPOSED to be for the people, not the rich and powerful lording over us.

    People>government

  • The average American is statistically among the dumbest people on the planet. do you want to rethink your position? I sure as shit don't want someone of your diminished intelligence RUNNING THE COUNTRY. If you don't believe me that your dumb, look up national IQ rates compared to worldwide IQ, or GPA's, or Standardized test scores, thats why this country has fallen apart, the dummies think they are just as smart as everyone else because they just wont accept that they are idiots.

  • The people are collectively smarter than their representatives. Test scores don't measure leadership or a sense of community. We're experiencing a brain drain because we're preserving the institutions that demand conformity and diminish creativity. You're participating in these institutions of ideological subversion by spreading these poisonous attitudes designed for control. Believing in the myth of "Great Leader" is a great way to participate in the stupidity and continue the destruction.

  • lol, my lack of ideology is somehow causing me to participate in institutions of ideology? you fail, please try again.... I simply believe leaders should be somehow better than those following, if you would like to debate that topic, feel free, If you were somehow unable to distinguish my message through all the big words, Im sorry. You have literally said nothing regarding my point. BTB, I graduated Valedictorian, so if you think I am causing a "brain drain", you're sorely mistaken.

  • The power of ideological subversion lies in the lack of awareness by its participants. Once the seeds are planted, it is difficult to counter this highly decentralized mode on control. A research scientist is as much an average person as a gas station attendant in our political system. True leaders serve the public. It should not be about being in an elite ruling class. The Swiss understand this and have a true appreciation for the process of democracy.

  • so intelligence means very little to you? I understand the swiss government, do you?

  • haha, well since you understand Swiss government so well, I suppose the elected representatives there wouldn't meet your standards. They're nothing special compared to our brilliant lawyers.

I believe in treating people as equals. I believe in the American dream. Take that away, and you lose individuality, opportunity, creativity, innovation, and any hope of recovery--a great way to create a stupid population that will self-destruct the country during desperate times.

  • Listen, I get it, you don't like that some people can be smarter than you, or more suited to lead. And no offense, what does the Swiss government have to do with that? A government model does not disprove my opinion, sorry. Considering that most Americans can't find Iraq on a map, I doubt they would be capable of properly finishing a war. I agree that all men are created equal, but that does not mean everyone should have shot at fucking up the country.

  • hehe, are you Pee-Wee Herman?

Listen, I get it, you don't know damn thing that you're talking about. (On Swiss government, Direct Democracy in Switzerland by Fossedal is a good book on the subject.)

I'm not going to spell everything out for you. I don't think my irony is that subtle. Do you plan to run for political office, Mr. Valedictorian? Have you ever worked against or inside the American political machine?

Maybe one day you will understand the purpose the barriers serve.

  • Oh, it's very unfortunate that the Swiss don't have a political machine to lock out the idiots from ETH Zürich! It's so great that our system keeps out the dumb people!

With your talk about IQ tests and being valedictorian, you sound like a big fish in a (very) small pond (and I say "big" relative to the pond). If you ever enter a competitive field like mathematics at the graduate level, you will soon learn there is always a bigger fish.

  • It's good to have smart people in office, but I don't think it's even desirable to have the smartest people. Experts should serve the purpose of informing the public and the politicians, so they can do a better job. A central planning authority may sound good to you by locking out "stupid people," but power corrupts and can quickly lead to an inbred class of dictators. I already told you that I think the people are collectively smarter than our representatives.

  • power corrupts, not intelligence. It's my opinion, I believe the uninformed masses(most Americans don't accept evolution for instance) are definitely dumber than the educated individual, And that doesn't even come close to discrediting the comment I am defending, some people ARE better suited to lead, I honestly don't know what your problem is with that statement. You can try to discredit that all you want, but it's my opinion. The leaders should listen to the masses. but....

  • A group in a state of fear makes very poor decisions, so a leader should be able to sift through the paranoid shit. I am sorry if my views offend you, but the facts I have stated about Americans are true(not being able to find Iraq, etc.) and you should not get mad at me for repeating them, those were not opinion.

  • Totalitarianism is fueled by fear and keeping the masses stupid. That's how it works.

Democracy isn't perfect. That's kind of the whole point. I see no better way for us to advance to the level required to cope with the problems of the 21st century, since oligarchical rule is clearly failing miserably. Improve the level of civic involvement through deliberative lawmaking procedures open to the public and people will become better informed through participation in the process.

  • I believe you will have a better quality of leader when he is working in partnership with his constituency, because then you will have you a natural process for community leaders to act responsibly as they gain power within the system. Representatives are held accountable while the quality of civic participation improves. It's a win-win. It's got to be better than hoping our hired corporate mercenaries suddenly develop a sense of compassion while we are locked out of the process.

  • that's what I said, I just put the stipulation in that they should understand when the constituency is being irrational or panic driven. Furthermore, I believe you are including corporations in our discussion of government, and while they do play a large part, they have little to do with my leadership argument. Corporations should have little to no influence on the government(though this is not reality). Other than that, I would say we basically agree on this.

  • PS, I love how you quote "Great Leader" even though nobody said it but you....and you didn't say it until you quoted it. So who are you quoting?

  • hahahaha

  • Ron Paul would have been better. At least he understands what's happening, saw it coming while others laughed. He wants to bring the troops home. He wants to end the Federal Reserve. Wants to cut the government spending. He does not work for the banks and Wall Street.

  • What do you think is wrong with the Federal Reserve? It is the entity that regulates our capitalistic system. Without that, who will regulate the economy?

  • no refills, LOL!!!!

  • When government finds that your position as propagandist is no longer needed, and relieves you, maybe I'll make a video of myself laughing while you walk out with your pink slip. I'm sure they'll have an "infrastructure" job for you somewhere by then. Come to think of it, just how much profit are you guys making? Can't be much; it may be time for some intervention.

  • Excellant video.

    Nearly pee'd myself laughing!

  • Obama wants to get reelected, so he's semi-tough with the banker scum

If this whole stimulus/bailout thing won't work his chances also aren't gonna increase ...

  • this guys an idiot

  • The white guy needs to shut up! Let Cenk talk dude

  • All humor aside, I HOPE it went just as you say, Cenk and Ben. I'm a little worried by the latest from the Wash Po about Obama finding loopholes for finance employees. Could the WP story be a complete fairy tale?

  • who's the faggot cohost? that queer totally can't take his homo eyes off that picture of the Washington monument. did he swallow the big black microphone too

  • The guy on the right keeps interrupting and jumping in :S

  • Never watched the show, huh? That's Ben. He and Cenk are the original Young Turks, hence the name "Young TurkS" (plural).

  • Nooo not the CEO of Chase! Who will run my bank?

  • lol

  • Comment removed

  • There is a new sheriff in town.

  • hallelujah

  • This is what America needs. Jail time or firings! Bernire Madoff anger was drastically reduced because he's jail! All of sudden we have made the auto industry realize the magnitude by letting go of Wagoner. Do the bankers and banking institutions sound like they "get it?" This was a warning to change or he will do it for them. America needs to see change, not just be told of it because we're not buying that crap anymore.

  • where is ANA !!!!!!! this show sucks without ana

  • The new guy is annoying as hell.

  • Why are you lying?

  • Just because Obama recieved campaign contributions from these large companies doesn't mean that they're BFFs. During the campaign the bankers and CEOs thought "Oh look a Democrat, he's going to toss money at us to fix the problem", and they didn't realise that this recovery plan was going to require sacrifise on their part. I'm willing to bet big money that Obama won't recieve half the money he got from these companies in the 2012 campaign.

  • Good point. Hopefully some new, very innovative and obviously cheap products start springing up in America soon. We need those items to remain productive and not rely on a financial services so much.

  • Ignorant cenk thought he made a humorous comment once when he noted that "It looks like all politicians worked for Goldman Sachs at one point".

Obama doesn't want lobbyists to work for his administration but he doesn't seem to mind when they come from Goldman Sachs for some reason.

Obama didn't toss money? What about those billions to GS via AIG Einstein? Sacrifise? You mean those impotent caps on executive bonusses in the stimulus bill that he tried to get rid off behind your back? Please...

  • How much money did these corporations give to Obama's opponents?

Corporations usually cover their bets both ways making your point difficult to discern.

  • The problem with Opensecrets -- as great a resource as it is -- is that you need to be able to dig in and read the data. Any contribution by any individual, if that individual is employed, is rolled-in to that company's total. So, for example, if you worked at GE as a secretary, and you give Obama $50, that's 50 from GE (as well as the individual).

Since few campaign contributors are unemployed that means that some company has to be on top. Key is to look at the amounts and level of givers.

  • It's time to let the larger banks fail. What would happen? They will not lend money? They aren't doing it now! The small-to-midsized and more conservative banks will take up the slack in time. Perhaps limiting their time would not be a bad idea. That ACORN crap needs to disappear altogether. Can't afford it? You don't get it.

Our car companies would do well again if we treated imports the way other countries do. That and eliminating the health-related legacy costs through national health care.

  • this shit is a ridiculous waste of my FUCKING TIME..YOU OWE ME 4 minutes of my FUCKING LIFE BACK...obama is a bankers puppet and will do whatever soros/kissinger globalist puppet and nothing we think fucking matters, gimme a break before i wretch

  • No one owes you anything, go for a walk.

  • Poor, poor baby. Let's give you a soapbox for your personal outrage. Will you piss your pants for us? Cry? Jump up and down holding your breath?

  • No one told you to watch. If you dont like then you dont like it.

  • the bankers shoulda cut off Obamba and said excuse me, is there a white guy around here we could talk to

  • Fuck Wall St. and open up new banks. Let corporate America fail. They put themselves in this mess let the taxpayers tar and feather them all. The TARP money should be use to buy pitchforks and torches for every American.

  • Lol I like that plan I need a new pitchfork. I Already have gas for my touches.

  • Another asskissing for Obama. This is getting just sad.

  • PLEASE

    Find another role for yourself.

    Maybe comedy?

I hope you don't take your powers of analysis and reasoning too seriously.

Is this an infomercial for the Democratic Party?

  • Oh yeah, the banks are really scared.

    You stupid fuck.

It's the BANKS that are taking down GM dumbass.

I can't believe the twisted clueless shallow nonsense in your videos.

  • the presidency is the ultimate bounty for the ultimate thieves (politicians) nothing is gonna change with this guy, it's another 4 years of thieves working together to rip off the rest of us

  • GM is a victim of implied government "bailouts" HANDOUTS to large holders of GM bonds and derivatives. Why should they accept GM debt restructuring terms when they KNOW the gov (taxpayer) will pay them 100 cents on the dollar instead of 30.

GM dug it's own hole over the years but this is immoral.

Industry is getting wiped out while the banks loot us. Obama has missed too many opportunities to prove he is an agent of change. The evidence to the contrary is piling up fast. Wake up people.

  • Would someone please tell that guy in the white suit to shutup.

Everytime the guy in the grey blazer starts telling us the facts, the white suit pops in.

He's like the human form of a hiccup

  • Sadly only 1/10th of the population has a brain. Too low to make rational decisions in a democracy.

  • 'bout god damn time!
