Hmm. I'm a fan of you by now, but this sounded very mechanical (thanks to metered midi/synth track). I wish I could hear a more "flowy" version (wavering tempo, ala orchestral version) at a higher average tempo.

Also, personally speaking, I wanna hear more "chug," and "hotter" distortion. Tone's too clean for the intended badass effect! ;-)

everyones gotta start somewhere, using tabs is a great way for people to get started at the least, tabs is a good way to get used to knowing the notes and then you can begin to use ear and reading notes etc
