How to fix Massive crashing in Ableton, Logic & Cubase

TO WINDOWS 7 PEOPLE:

In Control Panel find "Folder Options". click the View Tab. Under Advanced Settings, find where it says "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" enable it, press OK.

Now go to start menu. Click on your user name.

From there go to: AppData - Local - Native Instruments - Massive.

find the file named NIMassiveDataBase_ul and delete it. Re-Open Massive to recreate the database. You're done :) If it crashes again, simply redo the steps.

If your using Mac OSX Lion, you'll need to show hidden files in Finder, in order to see the library folder in your 'Username' folder...

To do that, type this into Terminal:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE

Then:

killall Finder

If you want to hide the files again, do the same thing except replace 'TRUE' with 'FALSE'. :)

@JohnBrah828 Try reinstalling the whole program and then do a search on your c-drive for these files, aswell as anything else to do with Massive, delete it all. Then reinstall and see if this works.
