Thanks for the tip on using brown/blue to make black. That particularly was helpful to me! Using black never quite looked right... I shall have to try this!
I've watched lots of these tutorials, but found yours to be the most helpful. You describe step by step what you are doing, and why. I'm starting to believe maybe there still is hope that I can learn.
I picked up my colored pencils and drew right along with you, i have NEVER used color pencils before and i was so estatic when i finished, it looks great for my very first colored pencil drawing, thank you..................
That's something I've noticed with my colorings is that I use black, and the whole picture tends to suck. Using a combination really does seem to help with darker areas.
