My perception of cosmetics. We are by nature programed to procreate with the most perfect. Cosmetics hide imperfections to become more attractive to the opposite sex. This is actually competition for resources / survival instinct. Females are attracted to the strongest most perfect male and are also attracted to the male with the most resources. It's about survival. I'm not happy with the system but I think unfortunately this is the way it is. Competition for survival and perfect reproduction.
