As much as I dislike Wolf Blitzer, I think it's better to acknowledge the fact that blacks *are* still disadvantaged in this country. Too many people, primarily conservatives, seem to think that racism is "over" and that poor blacks are just lazy. This is wrong, of course - multiple studies have shown that blacks have more trouble getting hired and get paid less than whites with the exact same "stats." They also get heavier sentences for the same crime.

The problem won't go away on its own.
