This scene in Conviction, "The Truth," perfectly caps off all the shit Sam's been put through in service to his country. Fisher - from a hero of necessity to a broken man with nothing to lose and every regret in the world, having lost damn near everything and it being partially his own fault.

But it is indeed the version in the game the song is called "Building steam with a grain of salt" as seen on top. It is not modified except for the quality but other wise it's the same . If what your saying about the excessive background voice. It's probably not supposed to have the purpose of being included in the song itself. Probably something else but ask The game developers

this is not the song splinter cell conviction did a remix on this song they changed the voice at 1:13 to sarah's little girl voice, the music is done better, you can here sarah in her little girl voice say some things, and all of that put together is fuckin awesome but you can't even get that song in the US any more, the only place to here it is Splinter Cell Conviction HELL YA :)

@topsniper47 Nope, I replayed this level several times and there's no voice from Sarah, except for the moment when Grim tells him the truth, then it's an endless loop of this instrumental song. I'd say you're confusing this song for the song nearing "Airfield" 's end.
