Adigun Sipho is only interested in the proliferation and growth of the art. Unity between the new generation of instructors is critical to the process. So called beefs are counter productive, and are the primary reason for the limited number of groups that survive in the states. The next 20 to 30 years will be about the new wave of teachers, many will be home grown, let us learn from the mistakes of our predecessors, and work together in order to shape our collective legacy. Peace.
Although the internet is a valuable tool it can be a haven for rumor mongers and keyboard capoeiristas as well. For the record no beef exist between RU79 and Prof Tempo. Prof. Tempo and RU79 have met in the roda, and you can see the respect that they have for one another. Also Metsre Amen of Capoeira Batuque is a friend of Mestre Baruti. In 1988 Metsre Amen was a special guest of Mestre Baruti, and taught a workshop for M. Baruti's childrens class free of charge.
The quality of capoeira of all styles has really grown leaps and bounds over the past 10-15 years. Fica is well estblished on a world wide level, the oakland branch represent thier interpretation of the art well. Prof. Muito Tempo also is a part of the young wave of instructors that will carry the art to the next level. These two teachers have the respect of the community at large.
FICA Oakland represent! What a dope group they have over there. The female capoeiristas over there are some of illest 'merica born there are, and the axé in their music puts most groups to shame.
It's always the people that run off at the mouth that get their ass handed in the roda. I just finished training with Treinel Daniel this weekend and even Daniel expressed much respect to muito tempos game. To "RU79", all I gotta say is, you play muito tempo and we'll see if you still run off at the mouth. you do not understand capoeira at all.
bet you RU79 will be one of those quitters in capoeira due to his so-called knowledge of the game...thinks he knows everything, but will later find emptiness
The guy in white is not commiting to any movements, which it looks like its making the guy in yellow non commit to his movements which makes for a so-so game

The guy in he whites jinga is too high in my humble opinion, they are bending over playing instead of bending in the knees, this can add pressure on your back- I learned from mistakes in the jogo- And games in angolga where there is tit for tat mentality is not really good for the game- but to each his own- I have ultimate respect for the game , and if thats who i think it is in the red playing the berimbau- THATS ONE OF MY LEADERS AND MENTORS IN THE GAME-
have you ever played prof. Muito Tempo? cmon buddy don't disrespect, he's a hell of a capoeistra, if you knew a damn thing about angola you'd know the feints are a huge part of the game.
