what is the difference between using zinc oxide and titanium oxide? I think zi nc oxide causes my skin to break out. Can I substitude? Thanks for the tuitorial, what a cool idea. My hubby and son lovings being in the sun, now I can make something for them.
I would love to know if I could use shea butter *as a sunscreen* on top of my salicylic acid acne treatment (its an Aveeno product which is also daily moisturizer) I have very oily skin, so I am trying to fight acne with salicyclic AND protect my skin from the sun with shea butter. I like shea butter, but I can't tell if the shea butter is making the Aveeno acne cream less effective. I don't know if the pimples pop up because of shea butter or what. Anyone having this experience? Anyone know?

@vivecarocks Shea Butter only has spf 4-6 make sure you wear a wide brim hat or umbrella to protect from the sun.
