every so often i always come back to watch this series you did Jess , its just amazing so beautifully put together , i just LOVE this guys play and his story , i hope you are doing ok , keep up the great work !!!!!!!!
Check out the life and games of Cecil De Vere - he was dubbed ‘the English Morphy” - I just got the book from a stall at a tourney - some interesting stuff there :-)
In the past our teachers were always the grandmasters and worldchampions, nowadays our teachers are the computers. They play , solve and compose . So have a look at youtube.com :
jess it's awesome!! so elegant. The music was fabulous and the pictures are elegant too. What a dream girl you are for us long suffering chess brainiacs. Don't stop! Ever!
@NegustoruL Nezhmetdinov- the "Russian Champion"- he kept winning the Russian Championships. But the government wouldn't let him leave Russia to play international tournaments. He also beat virtually every World Champion. His story is fascinating- so yes I'm very interested in doing a video of his story. It might take a while to get to though.
i am back to look at this guys life again , i just love how you put this together Jess

@Moremover
real chess is about the battle of the mind''' will always be
and also kasparov single handedly still beats computers
deep blue was a scam , who never wanted to show the computers calculations''' selfishly enough
no matter how good computers get , in my opinion chess will be the battle of human mind much more fun

Historical Note- at 1:10 and ~1:16 I misspelled the town "Debrecan" - it should actually be "Debrecen" =
Many thanks to Annie Kappel (AnnieK1974) for catching this error.
