well playing ability isnt all of it, bergenfield's ability id great, if u say that dumont has better fine... think waht u want but its called MARCHING band, i think dumont should focus more on marching...

@brianpg21794 When I was in HS marching band, I was never impressed with Dumont. They always seem like they're standing in place most of the time or just marching in simple lines. Just wiki Bergenfield and they've got a long list of accomplishments.

Bergenfield marching band's performance was better the dumont's because dumont moves in sections and bergenfield moves as a group and creates a better visual effect. altough music playing abilities are equal. bergenfield still blows away the competition with the company front and circle

i apreciate your comment because im from dumont and i was not sure. since next year is my last year i want it to be the best ever. so thanks for not being a douche about it like jaygame24.who knows, maybe dumont will be better. only time will tell

@GeneralAckbar The opening is "Rule Britannia", which is used by the British military. Bergenfield has British guard uniforms, so add it together. They've been playing it for decades, and it never gets old. Go BHS!

@jariemonah It gets old every year, but i guess that is just a dumont thing, but i noticed DHS goes through a music cycle too. i graduated two years ago so i kinda dont care any more haha
