If you use Rice's Plugin and PJ64:

Do a folder named ''hires_texture'' on the Plug In folder, put a folder with the name of the rom (In this case, ''THE LEGEND OF ZELDA'') After you got the dumped textures, DO NOT RENAME THEM, keep the original name, edit them and put them in the hires_texture folder. It must be the same size as the original (Unless you want them Hi Res)

Your statement is false in every game except possibly the first two (Japanese title of ALttP is "Triforce of the Gods"), and even then, the crosses which appeared on Link's shield and as gravestones in those initial games were probably intended to be generic, rather than religious. The concept for the first game was partially based on the generic medieval fairy-tale concept of a knight fighting dragons and such, as it was on offshoot of the "get ye flask" genre of quest adventure game.

I think it's funny how Link has a cross on his shield back in the old days, then had the Islamic crescent moon and star on his mirror shield in OoT (as well as on the blocks you had to push). Nintendo removed the imagery in the GameCube version, but early N64 cartridges had both Islamic imagery and even a song with a Muslim chant in the Fire Temple.

Then people got all offended and they took it out. I thought it did a lot for the mood of the game myself. And it was NO different from the cross.
