I personally love DPP but it is not their best by any means(that title is reserved for century child for me) imaginarium sounds like its going to be very fantasy-ish and it'll be a huge test for anette to see how she does with that kind of theme because this is still uncharted waters for her. but she is a great singer and I'm pretty confident that it will be an enjoyable album

There are several classically trained soprano opera singers; the only thing that made Tarja special was she helped pioneer Symphonic Metal. If you still want to listen to Tarja and only Tarja, she has a solo career now, and she's doing pretty well. There's really no need to continue the "Nightwish sucks without Tarja" shit anymore.

@babyamylu The band received audition tapes and ultimately had a unanimous vote with Olzon as the new singer. It was really a mixture of chance and her persistence, since she was denied the position initially.

And it's not that Anette is a bad singer; she's just a rock singer instead of an opera singer. There's of course going to be a difference in her capabilities, hence why she can't sing Nightwish songs prior to DDP as Tarja could.
