The authorities are too corrupt and tolerant. Forget human rights and other do-gooder bullshit. The solution is simple... fight violence with 10x violence. In a war, the enemy is hunted down and killed. Round up anyone caught with illegal drugs (users, traffickers and dealers), throw them into a special prison, douse them with gasoline, and burn them alive. Hearing their screams as they burn should be published on the Internet as a warning. The problem will disappear quickly.
No society in the history of mankind has been "drug free". Not once.
And heroin is no worse than oxycodone. Instead of meth and cocaine we have kids smoking cigarettes and mixing extreme doses of caffeine with heavy alcohol use. Harmless, naturally-occurring marijuana is illegal, so kids smoke toxic incense instead and snort fucking bath salts and lose their minds on it.
It's not a war on drugs. It's a war on the drugs which governments have arbitrarily labeled to be "bad" drugs.
@afterapplepicking I would happily kill a drug dealer if I was permitted by law. The western laws are way too soft. The US prisons are full of convicted drug users and dealers. Killing them by injection or gassing would empty the prisons and help restore a fucked US economy. The other drug, tobacco, could be removed by banning it for 4 months with no notice (no time for Italian Mafia meat heads to start trafficking in it)... most addicts will have quit by force.
@creativeengineer After state appeals, federal appeals, and possible Supreme Court appeals, you'd be spending about a million and a half dollars per death penalty case.
To kill everyone from rock stars to college kids to Presidents like Bush Jr. and Obama, if you just wanted to go after just the illegal stuff. And you might want to go after the legal stuff, too. Whitney Houston didn't take anything illegal before she drowned in that bathtub. Just booze and Xanax.
@afterapplepicking My point is, no appeals, just summary execution of drug traffickers and dealers and users caught in the act. It is the cheapest and quickest way to solve a problem. Bush should be on trial for crimes against humanity, but the US idioticy is protecting him. If Bush was given a bullet to the skull, the parents of the 4 year old boy he was responsible for killing would not lose any sleep over it. Obama is a liar... Gitmo is still open for "business".
@creativeengineer No democracy would, or should, ever allow summary execution without trial or appeal. Why not just burn the Constitution, while you're at it?
Cuz who needs it. It's just an obstacle in the path to progress, right?
@afterapplepicking So how do you explain the summary executions of innocent people in Fallujah? No trial or appeal? Try telling that to the innocent souls (mostly) who were kidnapped and tortured in the Guantanamo concentration camp by the US government. And what about Abu Ghraib and the senior military officials who got away with murder, literally. Or kidnapping innocent and sending them to Egyptian neanderthals for torture. The US constitution and democracy? They ring hollow.
@creativeengineer Worse still are the Christians, Jews, Muslins and atheists alike who turn the other way, walk on the other side of the street, as the concentration camp stays open for business. Its fucking appalling to listen to the silence of these hypocrites, which is the vast majority of the US population.
Everybody blames the government................................look at the people there's the problem.............a nation cannot function without a society that is willing to work with them.....im Mexican.......and every time something went wrong,,,,,blame the government...........both in the U.S. and in Mexico there are big problems...........stop giving them gun's and stop buying drugs....................it's as simple as that.......this has to be done in both sides of the border.
If the called drug-trade , production, distribution and consume is a global problem, why should Mexico fight it when the U.S instead helping Mexico is arming, financing and training criminals? mientras los gringos sigan con su cinismo y politicas agresivas, poco se puede avanzar para lograr paz y democracia.
