  • This video inspired me to become a miniature maker. I was hypnotized when you finished and I knew I wanted to make miniatures! Thank you!

  • Can we use pastel insted of chalk pls reply

  • i'm gonna use brown and white eyeshadow

  • i am spanish/enspelo

  • omg this hand is beautful

  • what lan?????

  • Do you have any recommendations to make furniture like beds, and couches?

  • I have a question... can you please answer it?

I'm not exactly... a grown up, but I think I can manage doing this, right?

What do I need to start? (I mean to do basicly anything) I know probably chalk... clay (air dry? What do you think is best) and some type of glue ((can you say which one.. its name and where you can get it?)0

    If you answer, thanks xD!

  • @hihihi022 Yes, you can manage it. Air dry clay dries quickly, so I stick with regular oven-bake polymer clay. Get some clay, some chalk/ chalky make-up, and go for it! Glue? I seal it with Triple Thick glaze. It's air dry and you put it on after it's baked and cooled.

  • @GardenOfImagination

:D Thanks! x3 I'm glad you answered :P we're just about finished the doll house we're making... and every doll house needs good and stuff right?

  • I just want to say I am amazed that you can do this!! I have a niece that I know would love this so thank you for sharing!!

  • This is very neat, i never thought that i could make my own food for my doll house! I always thought i had to buy fake food! Thank you :)

  • Hi, sorry for asking two questions in two days lol...but can I do this with air dry clay?

  • @hussaruk yes

  • I absolutely love your techniques. I would have never thought of them myself. Thanks for sharing!

  • ive watched nearly every video of GardenOfImagination there awesome im planning on buying some things to start making miniature food dfor my dollhouse :)

  • can you do a video on how you store your clay?and other craft stuff

  • @steveandbrook Check my other videos for that one. Search on my youtube channel for the word velcro.

  • thats cool.

  • Hello. I'm not trying to be rude, but it's just at the end the bread kinda looks like chicken. Just saying. :)

  • very good

  • aww the first vid

    of yours iwatched

  • I know this has probably been asked of you very many times, but I was wondering what type of chalk you use. Do they come loose, or do you have to work the solid chalks down yourself? Also, do you have any preference as to the type of chalk?

  • @ApolloSleeps I use solid pastels and scrap a razor blade against them. It's easy. Any brand will work.

  • ove your videos

  • can you make a juice box for miniture dolls

    ?

  • No. You would just have to print out the box and fold it to the right shape.

  • you are so cool

  • I am the antithesis of cool. But thanks for the compliment!

  • You can use a thinner pointed paintbrush so you wouldn't get the brown in the creases.

  • Good idea!

  • I what to eat it! LOL!!

  • when you bake it how high does the temperature have to be and how long does it have to bake?

  • Check you type of clay. Mine is about 275 degrees F for 20 minutes.

  • :O ok thx :D one more thing. where do you get your clays from?

  • I get them at Hobby Lobby or at JoAnn Fabrics.

  • oh thx :3

  • i absoutely love your tutorials and i really, really appreciate them =D

  • Thank you so much!

  • You can also use fine-grit sandpaper to make really nice texture on bread.

  • Great idea!!!

  • well the first one i ever watched!

  • this was my first video ever to watch of yours!

  • putting sculpy in the fridgemakes it harder!!!!!!!!!!!wayy harder!

  • can u use clear nailpolish or an hardening coat for glaze??? just wondering

  • No. I used to say to do that... but sometimes it stays sticky and sometimes it turns yellow.

  • oh... I wish that i could just find some glaze!!!!

  • I LOVE THIS BREAD! I made a dozen of these! lol

  • No. My kids are only 7 and 4. Grandma? I hope it was just something Katherine was saying in the background. LOL!

  • how did you get your camera to stay like that???

  • Magic. Oh wait... a tripod.

  • do u really bake it?

  • yes. It's polymer clay and that's how it hardens.

  • LOL

  • dose it mater what kind of chalk you use

  • As long as it's not oil based, any kind will work.

  • @bball759 no.

  • I like this angle better. Insted of you zoomming in and out!

  • Thank you. I'm trying to get closer on these.

  • well!! never tried pouder so iv a question... if you bake it the colour pouder is fine with it? i mean, when its completely solid the pouder doesnt get off it?

  • The powder will stick to the raw clay, when you bake it, then it will stay on. You can glaze it after it cools with clear fingernail polish and it makes it look even better.

    Angela

    Angela

  • awesome :) these breads almost look like the mexican bread called Conchas. I want to make some like that for my mom. Do you know what those are? I'm sure there is a way to make those too.

  • No, I'm sorry I'm not familiar with that kind of bread. but after the shape is made the coloring is pretty much the same.

  • I'll do a video about a bone in ham this week for you! As for the fish... I'll have to work on that one.

    Thank you for the suggestion!

    Angela

  • In what temperature do you put the owen and how long has it to be there?

    Thank You!

PS.Sorry if my english is not too good :)

  • You must follow the directions on the clay you have. They are all a little different but it's around 250 F for about 20 minutes.

And put tin foil on the pan or use a pan that you do not use for food.

    PS. Your English is great!

    Angela

  • Ok, Thank you very much!

I ask one more thing, where could I buy clay. Are there some special stores for it?

    Thank You!

  • You can find polymer clay at Hobby Lobby, Michael's Craft Store, JoAnn's Fabrics, and maybe even Wal-Mart. Also, it's sold on Ebay- which may be your best bet if you live out of America. Where are you?

    Angela

  • Thank you for this information!I live in Finland so I think I try on eBay if I don't find any shop here. But I think there is somewhere a shop what sells polymer clay.

    Thank You!
